🧿 Vintage AP report about the "pogrom" - read ethnic cleansing - of Serbs in Kosovo & Metohjija in 2004, five years into the NATO occupation of Serbia's southern province. They outline how several villages were burnt within viewing distance of KFOR bases.

Retrospectively, it seems it was working as intended, as not much has changed and the erasure of Serbs from their historic lands, continues to this day.

Most recently the "authorities" have painted over all murals [remembering fallen victims and displaying Serbian slogans and Saints], built illegal bridges contrary to previous agreements with international bodies, renamed all streets with Serbian names, as well as shut down many businesses owned by ethnic Serbs; all in an effort to make life so unlivable that Serbs 'choose' to move out.

Serbs, however, continue to live in Kosovo, because, as we know, Kosovo is Serbia.

🧿 In neighboring Republika Srpska [the Serbian entity within 'Bosnia'], the president is making sure that the definitions of what is happening are clear. Outlining that they are a signatory to an agreement which they are within their rights to withdraw from (through the upcoming referendum).
