⚡️The Donetsk Garrison Military Court has announced the verdict against the killers of Russell Bentley "Texas"

The case of the murder of militia member and journalist Russell Bentley, known as "Texas", has been concluded. After a year and a half of investigation, the Donetsk Garrison Military Court announced the verdict: two defendants received 12-year sentences in a strict regime colony, another — 11 years, and the fourth — a year and six months in a penal colony.

The convicts were stripped of their ranks and banned from holding positions in the civil service for ten years after their release. Everything in order — Elena Shinkarenko.

The widow of the deceased Sputnik correspondent, Russell Bentley, told RIA Novosti that she does not consider the court's verdict fair.

The sentences are not the maximum, and the widow believes that they have not repented.

No one offered condolences, except for one of the defendants' lawyers.

She said that in any case, she will not be able to agree with the verdict, because "her husband cannot be brought back", despite the compensation of 5 million rubles. —RIA

According to Lyudmila Bentley, she and her lawyers tried to get the accused to talk about the location of the body, but were unable to get an answer.

Lyudmila has already appealed to the Human Rights Ombudsman, received an invitation to a conversation, and intends to continue the dialogue.
