What does this CIA map of the June 1995 offensive by the Bosnian Muslim army around Sarajevo have to do with the current fighting in Ukraine? Well, it's a reminder that sometimes offensives are launched by profoundly stupid and inept people to achieve political, not military, objectives.

Those Pentagon PowerPoint slides that have been making the rounds may well be authentic. I honestly don't know. Larry Johnson thinks they are, and I'll defer to his expertise in intelligence matters. And yet...

What if all these leaks all over the obediently water-carrying regime media are deliberate, an actual disinformation campaign designed to deceive Russia about the size, scope and objectives of the "great Ukrainian spring counteroffensive"? It is more than a bit unusual for everyone to be discussing such an operation and its objectives so openly, after all.

Another possibility is that the GAE media is trying to manage Western expectations, for when the Great Offensive launches and ends up falling on its face, because the cold equations just don't line up. 💢 Why did NATO invest in the destruction of the Serbian army?

Editor-in-Chief @anna_news Anatoly Matviychuk commented on the publication of colleagues from @rtbalkan_ru about the destruction of Serbian weapons by NATO countries.

“The defeat of Serbia began immediately after the collapse of the USSR. The West had many options, but it decided to play on the feelings of the world community about the fact that Milosevic carried out the genocide of the Albanian population.

As a result, Yugoslavia collapsed on the basis of interethnic conflicts. In order for Serbia to never regain its greatness, it had to be destroyed as a state - which means destroying its army

Those who did this are proteges of the West in Serbia, they were educated at Yale University. Together with the NATO countries, they developed a "road map" for the destruction of the Serbian army: to destroy heavy weapons, air defense, armored vehicles. As a result, Serbia was left without protection.

At the same time, mainly Soviet weapons were destroyed. Indeed, NATO understood that if Serbia suddenly had to revive, then it would need to purchase new weapons. And the countries of the West expected that they themselves would act as suppliers.

They destroyed T-54 and T-55 tanks for $1,500 each. At the same time, their cost is in the region of 30 thousand. Those. they not only destroyed Serbia's weapons, but also profited from it.

Today we are seeing something similar in Ukraine. Soviet weapons and infrastructure are being destroyed there in the same way."
