@ToreSays There’s an effort right now to effectively Abolish the Electoral College at the State level by getting enough States to join an Agreement among states to elect the President/VP by national popular vote.

Jenn A in our Michigan TS group brought this to our attention. Michigan’s House and Senate introduced this bill on March 2nd and it's now in their respective Elections committees. MI House is holding a hearing on it tomorrow (March 7th).

This bill would require each state’s electors to vote for the popular vote winner (nation-wide) for President and Vice President, even if the state’s vote is for the other candidate – totally disenfranchising the people of those states! Bill even states (pg 4) that "This agreement shall terminate if the electoral college is abolished." This plus the machines = game over.
