Update regarding XDC 2.0:

Several XDC masternodes have been experiencing memory-intensive peering issues, leading to high memory usage and causing nodes to either slow down or crash.

Since #XDC2 requires 2/3 of masternodes' approval to confirm a block, block production has been paused, which is the correct behavior under these circumstances.

👉 Important: There is no security breach or forking/consensus failure. Our team is actively working on two solutions:

1. Releasing a patch to resume chain operations with slower block generation.
2. Investigating the peering issue to resolve the root cause.

We appreciate your understanding as we swiftly address the issue and restore full functionality.

We're excited to share that the peering issue has been successfully resolved, and the XDC Network is now fully operational.

Latest Update on XDC 2.0 Upgrade

We would like to inform you that the transaction delay—previously extending up to 10 minutes as max time when a validator was unable to produce a block—has now been successfully reduced to max 60 seconds - only if proposed validator is unhealthy or non upgraded. With all nodes running the latest version, the block time will return to the expected 2 seconds.

This update comes as part of a new patch designed to further stabilize the network and ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations for everyone. We request all the masternode owners to upgrade their node to the latest version.
