The upgrade is the result of years of study & development by protocol scientists & Ph.D. professors.

Here’s a look at some of the XDC Network accomplishments from 2021.

The Andromeda update on the network was running stable, but at block 39,055,950 network observed a panic interface conversion error. A few nodes went offline since not syncing with the updated block number. The protocol team found the issue and waiting for the node to resyncing and stabilize the network. This may take time until the major node syncs with the network.

MasterNode sync is in progress, and the network is getting stable.

The XDC Network is still undergoing recovery from the panic interface conversion error. The network is still not fully stable. Devs are working on priority and will release next update soon.

Block propagation is normal, and the protocol team keeps an eye on the same. After full stabilization of the network block propagation, all the standby and some masternodes will get up. The nodes will receive bounty for this period as well.

On Friday, a legacy Ethereum bug was triggered, degrading XDC network performance. The team identified the bug, patched it & resynchronized the nodes. The team is actively monitoring & testing the network. We'll continue with updates as we regain 100% uptime for all network services.
