Just to have that one clear, this channel supports trans rights.
I see, Facebook now is named Meta. Finally more cyberpunk names for our tech overlords. /scnr
But honestly, who bets with me that all the transphobes will be fully supportive of this name change?
I can already imagine it.
Some trans person: *gets deadnamed*
transphobe: "Well I always knew you as [deadname]!"
Some trans person: "I wish I never found you on Facebook."
transphobe: "THAT IS NAMED META NOW!!111!!"
And the worst part? They won't notice a thing.
Edit: Admin was under the assumption they are renaming Facebook itself, not the company. See it as hypothetical then, the point stays the same except now it's hypothetical. Or non-hypothetical in case of "I wish I never found you on Facebook owned by Facebook" and "THAT IS NAMED META NOW!!11!!!"

Here is the CEO of Nestle complaining about "extremist" NGOs who "bang on about" water being a "human right". Nestle have tried pretty hard to wipe this video from the net.

Opinion: Using 'they' as a gender-neutral singular pronoun goes back to the 14th century
