A year ago,the Shehba region was invaded&occupied by gangs linked to the Turkish state.The population of Shehba consisted mainly of people who had already fled Afrin in 2018 and were now forced to flee for the 2nd time.But the people do not stop their fight to return under safe conditions.

A year ago, December 2024, there was not only a change of power in Syria. At the same time, the Turkish state and its allied militias attacked the self-administration of North and East Syria. Due the great resistance of the people, YPJ and QSD, these attacks were stopped at Tishrin dam.

Remembering The Self-Sacrifice Of Women Fighters In Manbij
One year ago during the fights at the Tishreen dam and Manbij 5 women joined the caravan of martyr through their self-sacrifice. All of them chose a dignified life over surrender.
Nergîz, Cudî, Axîn & Sema fought until their last bullet. Then they decided to use a hand grenade to explode themselves & the approaching enemy. Tolhildan fell martyr during the fights with the militias.
