Folgen Sie dem Ruf am Unabhängigkeitstag

Niemand sehnt sich mehr nach Frieden als die Männer und Frauen von Amerikas Streitkräften. Diejenigen von uns, die die Ehre hatten, auf dem Schlachtfeld für die Freiheit zu kämpfen, wissen nur zu gut, dass es nichts Erstrebenswertes am Krieg gibt. Doch wenn die Freiheit bedroht ist, verstehen wir auch, dass jemand den Ruf beantworten muss.

Wenn ich über das bevorstehende Wochenende des Unabhängigkeitstages nachdenke, werde ich an die vielen Persönlichkeiten in der Geschichte unserer Nation erinnert, die sich einer Herausforderung gestellt haben, die sie nicht selbst gewählt haben. An erster Stelle denke ich dabei an unsere Gründerväter. Am Unabhängigkeitstag feiern wir die Entstehung der Unabhängigkeitserklärung, ein Dokument, das offenlegt, warum sich eine Ansammlung britischer Kolonisten dazu entschloss, sich von ihrem ehemaligen Herrscher zu trennen.
Die Erklärung ist kein kriegslüsterner Aufruf zur Rache am britischen Empire. Vielmehr hält sie die Trauer fest, mit der sich die Gründer verpflichtet fühlten, die Bande zu lösen. Es heißt: "In jedem Stadium dieser Unterdrückungen haben wir in den bescheidensten Ausdrücken um Abhilfe ersucht: Unsere wiederholten Bitten wurden nur durch wiederholte Verletzungen beantwortet." Wie Sie sehen können, suchten unsere Gründerväter keinen Streit. Sie schätzten den Frieden, aber sie stellten sich der Situation, wenn sie dazu aufgefordert wurden.
Das Gleiche könnte man von Abraham Lincoln sagen, der sicherlich nie ein Präsident im Krieg sein wollte. In einem eindrucksvollen persönlichen Brief an Mrs. Eliza P. Gurney im Oktober 1862 schrieb er: "Wir gehen in der Tat durch eine große Prüfung - eine feurige Prüfung. In der sehr verantwortungsvollen Position, in der ich mich befinde, als ein demütiges Instrument in den Händen unseres himmlischen Vaters...

Ich habe mir gewünscht, dass alle meine Werke und Handlungen nach Seinem Willen sein mögen. Hätte man mir meinen Weg erlaubt, wäre dieser Krieg schon früher beendet worden, aber wir finden, dass er immer noch andauert; und wir müssen glauben, dass Er es aus irgendeinem weisen Zweck Seiner selbst zulässt, der uns geheimnisvoll und unbekannt ist; und obwohl wir mit unserem begrenzten Verständnis nicht in der Lage sein mögen, ihn zu begreifen, können wir doch nicht anders als glauben, dass Er, der die Welt gemacht hat, sie immer noch regiert."

Wie die Gründerväter. Präsident Lincoln und die tapferen Patrioten, die im Militär gekämpft haben, um die Freiheit zu schützen, steht jeder von uns jetzt inmitten eines Konflikts, den wir uns nicht ausgesucht haben. Ob wir es wollen oder nicht, unsere Freiheiten werden von dunklen Kräften bedroht, die "We the People" zum Schweigen bringen wollen, um ihre eigene Macht zu erweitern. Wir können nicht wählen, ob der Konflikt existiert. Wir können nur wählen, ob wir zu denen gehören werden, die den Mut haben, den Ruf zu beantworten.

Die Champions, die diesen Kampf gewinnen, werden nicht auf dem Schlachtfeld bestimmt, sondern in unseren Gemeinden und Staatshäusern. Von der kleinsten bis zur größten Stadt ist der Ruf nach Patrioten für alle offen. Das Endergebnis liegt nicht in unserer Hand. Wie Präsident Lincoln es tat, müssen wir bereit sein, das Ergebnis dem Willen unseres himmlischen Vaters zu überlassen. Unsere Aufgabe ist es lediglich, dem Ruf zu folgen und in seiner Kraft vorwärts zu marschieren. Werden Sie an diesem Unabhängigkeitstag überlegen, was Sie tun können, um ein Licht für die Freiheit zu entzünden? Werden Sie dem Ruf folgen?

Follow the call on Independence Day

No one yearns for peace more than the men and women of America's armed forces. Those of us who have had the honor of fighting for freedom on the battlefield know all too well that there is nothing worth striving for in war. But when freedom is threatened, we also understand that someone has to answer the call.

As I reflect on the upcoming Independence Day weekend, I am reminded of the many personalities in our nation's history who have faced a challenge they did not choose themselves. First and foremost, I am thinking of our founding fathers. On Independence Day, we celebrate the making of the Declaration of Independence, a document that reveals why a gathering of British colonists chose to separate from their former ruler.
The declaration is not a bellicose call for revenge on the British Empire. Rather, it captures the grief with which the founders felt obliged to break the ties. It says, "At every stage of these oppressions, we have sought redress in the most humble terms: our repeated requests have only been answered by repeated injuries." As you can see, our founding fathers were not looking for a fight. They valued the peace, but they faced the situation when asked to.
The same could be said of Abraham Lincoln, who certainly never wanted to be a president at war. In a powerful personal letter to Mrs. Eliza P. Gurney in October 1862, he wrote: "We are indeed going through a great trial - a fiery trial. In the very responsible position I find myself in as a humble instrument in in the hands of our Heavenly Father ...

I have wished that all of my works and actions would be according to His will. Had I been allowed my way, this war would have ended sooner, but we think it is still going on; and we must believe that He allows it for some wise purpose of Himself that is mysterious and unknown to us; and although with our limited understanding we may not be able to comprehend him, we cannot help but believe that He who made the world still rules it. "

Like the founding fathers. President Lincoln and the brave patriots who fought in the military to protect freedom, each of us is now in the midst of a conflict we did not choose. Like it or not, our freedoms are threatened by dark forces who seek to silence "We the People" in order to expand their own power. We cannot choose whether the conflict exists. We can only choose whether we will be among those who have the courage to answer the call.

The champions who win this battle are not determined on the battlefield, but in our communities and state houses. From the smallest to the largest city, the call for patriots is open to everyone. The end result is out of our hands. As President Lincoln did, we must be willing to leave the result to our Heavenly Father's will. Our job is only to answer the call and march forward in its might. On this Independence Day, will you consider what you can do to light a light for freedom? Will you answer the call?

My friend is a pharmacist and she had someone call her at work to see if her hospital can prescribe ivermectin. She unfortunately had to say no. I told her next time to give out her number to call after work. We can provide her with chlorine dioxide. Sad that my friend has to save lives at home.

I thought Fauci just wanted to kill us. I am beginning to believe he is just the dumbest person alive or should I say still breathing.

Dr. Fauci on MSNBC this morning said he recommends that people “mix & match” vaccine brands even though there is no scientific data to support doing that.

During the same interview, Fauci says that we need to make sure we base our decisions on the science and even says “don’t be bouncing back and forth, because you confuse people if you do that.”

That’s rich.
