The Founders regarded the People as the sovereign political power (not to be confused with the Sovereign power, YHWH).

A key part to our constitutional republic is the People handling their affairs.

Again, Rights are the protected object of common law governments bc the Christian worldview is predicated on God’s wisdom being good for all things - in any government, God’s order (to include the blessings He gives) is penultimate.

It’s axiomatic.

This means that People have a critical role in republican forms of government bc they are the ones endowed with blessings (Rights) from God.

God gives and takes away (Job 1:21).

The government does not give.

The government does not take away.

The People of a constitutional republic, that of every American, therefore, have the DUTY to manage their affairs by God’s wisdom.

If God saw fit to bless the Founders’ efforts to establish a republic based on God’s wisdom (common law), then it follows that God intends for People to preserve and protect His gifts until He takes them away.

Lest the People be seen as negligent and unappreciative of what God abundantly gives.

🇫🇮 Sanna Marin has officially submitted to the President of Finland, Sauli Niinisto, a statement of resignation from the post of Prime Minister.

"Dear President of the Republic, I ask you to release me and the rest of the government from our duties," Marin said at the presidential residence.

The Finnish leader thanked the head of government for the work done, especially during the period of integration into NATO, the coronavirus pandemic and "Russia's invasion of Ukraine."

Petteri Orpo, chairman of the National Coalition Party, will be appointed leader of the negotiations on the formation of a new government.
