Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan will convey an invitation to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to visit the kingdom, Al-Mayadeen TV channel reports, citing sources.
"The Saudi Foreign Minister will convey to President Assad an invitation to visit the kingdom," the channel's sources said. According to sources, Assad's visit to Saudi Arabia may take place after Eid al-Fitr (the feast of thanksgiving, which is celebrated in honor of the end of fasting in the month of Ramadan).

The BBC verified the geolocation of the footage with Putin by comparing the photos and establishing the identity of the buildings and the water tower on them.

Today, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin called on the G7 states to reflect on their own problems, abandon the Cold War mentality and stop interfering in the internal affairs of other countries.
Wenbin made these remarks at a daily briefing, adding that despite China's strong position and the existing facts, China's internal affairs were discussed at the G7 foreign ministers' meeting. In fact, the "Big Seven" slandered and discredited Beijing.
