🇨🇳🇺🇸 Chinese Foreign Ministry says Washington disrupted positive momentum in relations with Beijing

Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said that the United States violated the positive momentum in relations with China, reached by the heads of the two countries during the talks in Bali.

"A series of misguided actions and statements by the American side have disrupted the hard-won positive momentum in bilateral relations," the Chinese diplomat said.

According to him, relations between the two countries "stumbled on ice again."

The Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang also called on Washington to stop supporting separatism in Taiwan.

"The United States should properly approach the Taiwan issue, stop devastating the one-China principle," the Chinese minister said.

Also, according to him, Washington should stop supporting and "condoning" the separatist forces of "Taiwan independence."
