"A 34-year-old resident of the Republic of Crimea was detained on suspicion of treason. It was established that the detainee sent a video recording of the movement of the military echelon of military equipment of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the direction of the zone of the special military operation to the chat bot of one of the Ukrainian Telegram channels used by the Ukrainian special services to collect intelligence"
The information was transferred to the paramilitary formations of Ukraine and used by the enemy for launching missile strikes, the FSB added.

🇬🇧 🇷🇺 Today, a British electronic reconnaissance aircraft RC-135W is operating in the Black Sea. However, the special attention of observers was attracted by the escort of the board by two Typhoon fighters at once.
The UK has been resorting to such measures since the fall of last year, when a rocket “unexpectedly” flew near the reconnaissance aircraft of the United Kingdom. In London, they raised a panic, calling the actions of Russian pilots "dangerous and impermissible."
The Russian defense ministry explained the episode as a malfunction, due to which an unforeseen missile launch occurred. In Britain, they did not particularly believe this and began to send RW-135W with an escort of fighters for protection.
🔻At the same time, the electronic reconnaissance aircraft itself is now located southeast of the Crimean peninsula. Most likely, it is moving in the direction of the Kerch Bridge and the coast of the Krasnodar Territory, where the American RQ-4B UAV was working a couple of days ago.
And northeast of Romania, the EP-3E electronic intelligence aircraft has been operating for several hours. The accumulation of intelligence officers from NATO countries may well indicate preparations for the next strikes on the southern Russian territories.

🇪🇪 Estonia urges NATO allies to increase military spending
Prime Minister Kaja Kallas expressed her concern about the NATO countries non-fulfillment of their obligations on defense spending.
NATO member states must face the "new reality" of long-term confrontation with Russia, Kallas says, by meeting and exceeding military spending goals that most allies have spent nearly a decade failing to meet.
📝 "We are in a new security reality, and everybody has to do their share," Kallas told Newsweek

🇷🇺🇿🇦🇺🇦South African President Cyril Ramaphosa called Putin:
"Topical issues of strategic partnership were discussed. The mood for further activation of mutually beneficial ties in various fields was expressed.
The importance of continuing close coordination between Russia and South Africa in the context of preparations for major events, in particular, the upcoming second Russia-Africa summit in St. Petersburg at the end of July and the BRICS summit, which will be held in August in Johannesburg, was noted.
When discussing the issues of global food security, the readiness of the Russian side to supply substantial amounts of grain and fertilizers to African states in need, including free of charge, was confirmed.
Having supported the idea expressed by Ramaphosa about the participation of a group of African leaders in the discussion of the prospects for the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, Putin outlined the principal assessments of the destructive line of the Kiev regime and its patrons, noted that the Russian side has never refused to work on the diplomatic track"
The conversation was initiated by the South African side.

The British Spectator magazine discusses why the economic war against Russia failed (that's exactly what the noscript sounds like).
The publication writes that the confrontation with the Russian Federation is not only on the military, but also on the economic front, and "few people in the West realize how bad things are in this aspect of the war."
One of the reasons is "while the West was interested in an economic war, the rest of the world does not want it."
"Russia quickly increased exports to China and India, which preferred to buy oil at a discount rather than resist the invasion of Ukraine," the article says.
Europe also continues to trade with Russia through third countries.
"The import of German cars to Kazakhstan, for example, increased by 507% in the period from 2021 to 2022, and to Armenia — by 761%. Exports of chemical products to Armenia increased by 110 percent, and to Kazakhstan - by 129 percent. Sales of electrical and computer equipment to Armenia increased by 343%," the article says.
The calculations for the collapse of the Russian economy were also not justified.
In April last year, the IMF predicted that they would shrink by 8.5% in 2022 and by another 2.3% this year. But, "as it turned out, last year GDP fell by only 2.1%, and this year the IMF predicts a slight increase of 0.7%."
"The West started the sanctions war with an exaggerated sense of its own influence around the world," the publication concludes. In his opinion, the Russian economy is not destroyed, but reoriented, "to look to the east and south, and not to the west."

Just a PSA as an addendum to the two posts above, and a general advisory to all our subscribers and readers on how to interpret information. As my fellow admin Area 52 has observed - if the flanks are collapsing, why is Wagner still attacking? If Wagner is out of ammo why do we see constant clips, from the UKR side of them getting shellacked with artillery strikes?
Something to think about.

🇺🇸🇿🇦🇺🇦🇷🇺South African Foreign Ministry: The US ambassador, who claimed the alleged supply of weapons[by South Affrica] to the Russian Federation, admitted that he crossed the line, apologized after he was protested
P.S. the US ambassador yesterday claimed that he "could bet his life on it" that South Africa have sent ship with weapons to Russia...
"We are confident that weapons were loaded onto that vessel and I would bet my life on the accuracy of that assertion," Brigety said.
