Ontario Green Savings - Copyright Strike - Scam In Ontario (Video Included)

Two men came to my door "upgrading" thermostats. They tried to look as government as possible, as the government had a program where they upgraded thermostats. They are hoping you don't realize they are a different company.

It turns out that they are a scam company run by Saeed Moravvej Torbati, a person who is known to police for killing a 56 year old woman, and he has had 63 charges from the Ontario government for operating scam companies that go door to door.

They came to my door and scammed me. I did record the video of them inside my home and I made a YouTube video where i talked to the camera about my experience.

I made a second video, which I'm sure Saeed will have taken down again.

I got an email from YouTube about a "copyright strike" against the first video. YouTube shows the email address of the person who files a claim, and sure enough it was Saeed.Moravvej.Torbati at gmail who filed the copyright claim.

​

To fight a copyright strike you MUST email ALL of your personal info to the original person who filed the strike. There's nothing worse than having to send your legal name, address, and contact information to a company that scams people by getting your name, email, address, and phone number.

​

I was told to post the video link here, as this subreddit deals with a lot of these tactics from companies.
