The next One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S25 is likely to be released in 2026

⌛ Samsung's One UI 8.5 beta program is currently live for the Galaxy S25 series, and two betas have been released so far. The third version, One UI 8.5 Beta 3, is now expected to be released early next year.

⌛ The first beta was released in limited numbers on December 8, and the second beta became available in more countries on December 22. The third beta is reportedly likely to be released on January 5, 2026, which is in line with Samsung's usual schedule for releasing updates (Mondays), although this has not yet been officially confirmed.

⌛ Samsung has confirmed that the stable version of One UI 8.5 will be introduced alongside the Galaxy S26 series, possibly in February 2026. Until then, there may be a few more betas released to improve stability. The exact timing and number of betas are still unknown and will depend on the results of testing.
