Android used to be a playground for power users. Now it’s a locked-down joke. Unlock the bootloader and apps break, features vanish, and you're treated like malware. No one’s getting hacked because of this it’s just bad engineering and anti-user policy.
UX gets worse every year. Bloat, ads, broken updates and no way to fix it.

Custom rom community will die if we all rely on gapps. let's think together for some moment, is it really worth the hard working to only get device level integrity?
We all can use vanilla version of every ROM and be happy asf, there's no integrity and shit you'll be in complete peace, there's no bloat ware and there's no goolag app that consumes your ram for absolute no use at all.

AOSP which is Android *Open Source* Project will always stay open source. Even if AOSP gets separated from google it stays open source but doesn't make sense to release pixels source codes along AOSP.
Don't listen to GrapheneOS, thats only made for Pixel devices and they are saying those because the pixel trees and kernels are not tracked in the latest release's manifest of Android anymore.

Hi everyone, ZG here!
It seems like I'll not be able to communicate well on tg, not even be able to be online as I was before in these days, a big internet outage has happened here in Egypt, causing 56% of users (including me) to a major connection loss to the internet.
They say the service is going to be stable after a week, it's currently doesn't even seem usable, let's see how it goes.
The reason for this outage is one of the biggest central internet center/provider was on fire, leaving a huge damage.
