Maariv Hebrew - Ofir Yisraeli
Hezbollah still constitutes a formidable independent military force in Lebanon, possessing an arsenal of missiles and rockets that undermine the sovereignty of the state and pose a constant threat of a destructive confrontation with Israel.
It is true that both Israel and a large segment of the Lebanese population have an interest in disarming it, but there is no magic formula to achieve this.
An attempt to eliminate the organization through a single military operation would be dangerous and could fail.
Instead, a systematic approach of attrition is needed, that is, a gradual and complex weakening of Hezbollah's power.
Firstly, the internal popular legitimacy of the organization in Lebanon must be undermined.
It justifies its military presence as a "necessary protection" against Israel, but this "resistance" argument is questionable.
Diplomatic steps such as the full implementation of UN resolutions and ceasefire agreements on the northern border, Israel's withdrawal from Lebanese territories that are still in dispute, and refraining from hostile cross-border incidents would make it harder for Hezbollah to justify its continued possession of weapons.
In parallel, the high cost of Hezbollah's military adventures must be exposed to the Lebanese public: the recurring destruction in the country, international isolation, and the exacerbation of the economic crisis.
Eroding the myth of "resistance" and highlighting the alternative - a sovereign Lebanon capable of functioning without armed militias - would pave the way for ultimately undermining the organization's legitimacy.
Secondly, Hezbollah's sources of power must be hit and the channels through which it continues to arm itself gradually cut off, starting with the sources of funding and weapons supplies from Iran and Syria, as well as other sources.
At the same time, loopholes within Lebanon itself must be closed: strengthening border controls to prevent arms smuggling, and combating the corruption that allows Hezbollah to circumvent the state.
Moreover, the Lebanese government should mobilize support for transferring security powers to the Lebanese army.
Thirdly, the recent turmoil has opened a window for steps that seemed impossible before; the economic crisis in Lebanon has pushed even some Hezbollah supporters to oppose the "corrupt authority".
At the same time, the organization has suffered heavy losses in the rounds of fighting over the past two years, and its main sponsor, Iran, has weakened.
Under American and international pressure, an unprecedented decision has been made to dismantle all armed organizations, led by Hezbollah, by the end of the year. This path enjoys broad support from multiple countries, some of them Arab, and Israel has welcomed it and pledged parallel steps if implementation progresses.
This is a rare moment when Hezbollah is pushed into a military-political corner, with a broader consensus than ever against its continued armed existence, but this window of opportunity will not remain open for long.
Achieving the goal - disarming Hezbollah - will require patience, international coordination, and persistence until the organization gradually disintegrates.
At the current stage, Israel should continue to carry out precision strikes against the organization's infrastructure and leadership, while exercising restraint to avoid escalation, until the dismantling plan is implemented.

🦠 Shlomo Kramer — “The godfather of Israeli cybersecurity”, a leading Israeli IT entrepreneur, billionaire, co-founder of cyber-security companies Check Point, Imperva and Cato Networks, and an alumni of Israel’s notorious 8200 unit — calls on the US’ NCBC’s Money Movers program for government censorship of social media: “It’s time to limit the first amendment, in order to protect it!” — "And quickly before it’s too late”.
Kramer told NCBC: “We need to control the platforms--all the social platforms. We need to stack, rank, the authenticity of every person that expresses themselves online and take control over what they are saying, based on that ranking. Q: The government should control social media? Kramer replied: "The government, yeah, should do that. And we need to educate people against lies”. “You need to use technology in order to stabilize the political system”, Kramer told NCBC. He argued that “Governments need to start building their programs, and the same tools [that business uses] can be used also by government”. Two years ago, Kramer told Forbes, “The world now has confidence in the Israeli high-tech industry. We no longer have to hide who we are ... [In] cybersecurity, Israel is a brand producing the leading cybersecurity companies in the world. All of that is down to a 30-year journey of hard, entrepreneurial work”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41Fss45tHYI

- We are proud of our relationship with Iran, because it has given us yet taken nothing from us.
- We believe that the United States is a tyrannical state that attacks us, that our country must be liberated, and that “Israel” is an aggressor entity.
- Shame on those who submit to American hegemony and promote “Israel’s” right to occupation.
- Adopting the option of building a capable and just state is both a matter of faith and self-interest, and we reiterate our call for dialogue and understanding.
- Confronting corruption and rejecting the occupation are matters of faith and self-interest for Hezbollah, and depositors’ funds must be returned in full.
- Shame on all those who justify Israeli aggression and do not contribute, even through media pressure, to confronting it.
- We call for arming the national army so that it can confront the enemies.
Hezbollah wants a sovereign, free, independent and capable Lebanon.

The Western press also does not rule out that Trump, following the example of Venezuela, might attempt to take control of Greenland as well.

Beyond the moral and legal assessment of the kidnapping operation carried out by the Trump administration against the legitimate Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro from his presidential residence in Caracas, a political assessment of this operation is necessary. This assessment should examine the strategic implications of the operation and whether it was truly successful in serving American policy, or merely a show of force, as is often the case when someone wants to convince others that they are still in control despite facing setbacks both domestically and internationally.
Firstly, the Venezuelan leadership responded to the kidnapping of President Maduro with constitutional and security arrangements that suggest the situation remains under government control. This is especially true given that no statement has been issued by the internal opposition endorsing the kidnapping of the legitimate president. On the contrary, the Supreme Constitutional Court issued a ruling calling on the Vice President to assume presidential responsibilities while the president is absent. Meanwhile, the state of emergency declared by Maduro remains in effect, and the armed and security forces continue to perform their duties.
Second: It is clear that the US administration has not announced any legal measures to address the presidential vacuum created by the president's abduction.
Third: The Venezuelan street has not witnessed any popular movements supporting the overthrow of the legitimate president. On the contrary, the streets of Caracas and other cities have seen demonstrations, albeit limited, in support of Maduro. These demonstrations are likely to escalate as the government recovers from the severe blow it has suffered.
Fourth: In contrast to this internal situation, where no public support for the US aggression has emerged, we have seen large demonstrations in the United States, France, Britain, Greece, and other Western cities, not to mention what is happening in many Latin American countries. These demonstrations condemn the US aggression and support the legitimate government in Venezuela, recalling the success of the late President Hugo Chávez when the coup plotters succeeded in imprisoning him in 2002, only to be forced to release him and reinstate him to the presidency 47 hours later.
Fifth: There are undoubtedly still unclear aspects of the dangerous Venezuelan events that require explanation, especially the ease with which the American invaders arrested President Maduro and his wife, not to mention the limited popular movements rejecting the externally imposed coup. However, anyone familiar with the Bolivarian culture, so deeply connected to the peoples of Latin America, understands how difficult it is for colonial powers to control the destiny of those nations.

After 5 hours, the small security kitchen meeting chaired by Netanyahu just ended, with the participation of several ministers and security system leaders, which discussed several files, including the second phase of the Trump plan.
• Moria Asaf is the reporter to whom Omer Dostri, the media official in Netanyahu's office, leaked before the war on Iran last June that the purpose of the cabinet meeting was to discuss Gaza, in order to mislead Iran, as she later admitted in the documentary "12 Days of June."

Venezuelan media sources confirm that there was no political collusion from within the Venezuelan government or leadership with the American aggression that culminated in the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro.
This is not to deny the possibility of breaches in the security and military infrastructure that may have facilitated the American operation, which, in any case, relied on sufficient technological superiority to control the electromagnetic spectrum in the capital, Caracas...
This disrupted radars and communication systems and contributed to the power outage.
The sources say that the patriotism shown by the Venezuelan people, including opposition supporters, was remarkable.
Not a single demonstration took place to celebrate what the Americans did, who had anticipated a popular uprising that would sweep through government institutions following the announcement of the president's kidnapping.
All attempts to create divisions within the security and military institutions failed. The Americans kept postponing the operation for several days, waiting for the right moment, not due to weather conditions, as the American president claimed.
Sources said that the attempt to pressure the Venezuelan vice president has failed, as evidenced by the recent remarks of the US president...
who threatened the vice president with a fate worse than kidnapping if she did not submit to American dictates.
The sources concluded that Venezuela is preparing to confront a ground invasion, which has become an inevitable path to American control. This will ultimately prove fatal for the American project.

🦠 Hilarious yet pathetic:
*Washington Post Report:*
Two sources close to the White House said:
Trump's lack of interest in supporting opposition leader Maria Corina Machado to govern the country, despite her efforts to appease him...
stems from her decision to accept the Nobel Peace Prize, which he had long coveted, even though Machado stated she was dedicating the prize to him.
However, one of the sources says that accepting it was a major mistake.
He added that if she had refused it, saying she couldn't accept it because it was for Donald Trump, she would be the president of Venezuela today.

- The claims regarding the evacuation of Ain al-Assad Air Base in Iraq are being exaggerated and used as a tool to incite tension without any basis.
- Iraqi officials have confirmed that the handover of Ain al-Assad Air Base to the Iraqi government is scheduled for 2026, according to signed agreements.
- This procedure falls within the framework of existing agreements between Iraq and American and other foreign parties, and is not related to any potential military aggression against Iran.
- Statements by Netanyahu and hardline American officials regarding the internal situation in Iran promote terrorism and violence.
- The deception of this entity has become clear to Iran, and what matters to Tehran is strengthening its readiness and maintaining full vigilance to defend Iran's sovereignty and security.
- Our armed forces are monitoring Iran's borders with open eyes and do not intend to rely on or trust the statements of the Zionist entity.
- The Iranian people have not forgotten the crimes of the Zionist entity & the United States and will not be fooled by such misleading statements.
- The actions and statements made by some American officials and the Zionist entity constitute, according to international standards, incitement to violence and terrorism.
- The absence of a clear and explicit response from the international community presents everyone with a serious problem.
- The kidnapping of the Venezuelan president and his wife is not a source of pride.
- Violating national sovereignty and territorial integrity is unjustifiable and contravenes all rules of international law, and its repercussions will affect the entire international community.
- No responsible state, or one claiming legitimacy, can remain indifferent to such acts.
- The attack on Venezuela and the kidnapping of its president is an extremely dangerous development, and many countries have condemned it.
- “Peace by force” is nothing but a prelude to a world governed by the law of the jungle.
- A world without international law and the UN Charter will descend into chaos, and some powers are seeking to impose this reality by force.
- The attack on Venezuela and the kidnapping of its president are condemned and utterly rejected, and the perpetrators of this crime must be held accountable.
- We hope that this year will be 2026 is the year to end the culture of impunity, to end the normalization of crime and lawlessness, and for the world to move towards peace and justice.

When a man who once walked the corridors of power turns whistleblower, the foundations of the establishment tremble. Peter Oborne, a veteran British journalist and former chief political commentator for The Daily Telegraph, has just lit a firestorm with a single, explosive charge: the United Kingdom is not a bystander but a willing accomplice in the ongoing tragedy of Gaza.
In a recent interview, Oborne laid bare the devastating conclusions of his new book, Complicit, which he describes as nothing less than “a legal brief for the prosecution of those responsible for the genocide.” [1] The central question is stark: why does he believe Britain is “red-handed” in the destruction of Gaza? His answer is a damning indictment of a system he knows from the inside.
Oborne argues that British complicity is not a matter of passive observation but of active participation, driven by three devastating pillars:
• Continued Arms Sales: The UK continues to supply weapons and military components to Israel, directly enabling its military operations.
• Diplomatic Support: Britain has consistently used its position on the world stage to shield Israel from accountability and criticism.
• US Subservience: The driving force behind British policy, according to Oborne, is the unwritten rule that the UK “must do whatever the United States wants.” [1]
This unquestioning allegiance to the US, what is often termed “Atlanticism,” is, in Oborne’s view, the root of the moral and political decay. He draws a sharp contrast with past leaders like Margaret Thatcher, who, despite her own controversial legacy, was reportedly “furious” after the Sabra and Shatila massacre and publicly condemned Israel’s illegal actions. [1] Today, that independence of thought appears to be a distant memory.
But can there be any real accountability? Zeinab Al Saffar raises the specter of Tony Blair, who remains unprosecuted for the Iraq War, suggesting that the pursuit of justice might be a “comforting fantasy.” Oborne doesn’t flinch. He agrees that a solid legal case existed against Blair, and in a moment of profound reflection, states:
“If he had been prosecuted, Britain would be a different country today.” [1]
For Oborne, the failure to hold the powerful to account has paved the way for the current crisis. His own experience serves as a chilling testament to the consequences of speaking out. The British establishment, he says, has a simple but effective method for dealing with dissent: “the system kicks out anyone who tells the truth.” [1] His book has been met with a wall of silence from the mainstream UK press—a “refusal even to engage” with its meticulously documented arguments.
The Bottom Line
Peter Oborne’s testimony is not merely an accusation; it is a confession from a witness who has seen the inner workings of the machine. The bottom line is a deeply unsettling picture of a nation caught in a web of its own making: where systemic complicity is disguised as diplomacy, where sovereignty is sacrificed at the altar of a “special relationship,” and where the truth-tellers are not celebrated but exiled. Oborne’s lonely stand is a powerful call for a reckoning, not just for the victims in Gaza, but for the very soul of Britain.

While covering the marches and aerial reconnaissance, a hostile Israeli force infiltrated at dawn and destroyed a three-story building after detonating it in the "Bab al-Thaniya" area west of the city of Khiyam (front line village South Lebanon.
The building is located 1,200 meters away from the newly established site in Hamamis and 3,500 meters from the nearest border point.
NB: during the war the Israeli enemy thugs couldn’t get that much into Lebanese territory albeit with complete aerial fire cover.
