ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የዩኒቨርስቲ ተማሪዎች ከመመረቃቸው በፊት ማኅበረሰቡን ለአንድ ዓመት በቅድሚያ እንዲያስተምሩ ወይም እንዲያገለግሉ የሚያደርግ አሰራር ተግባራዊ ለማድረግ ዕቅድ መያዙን አስታወቀ።
ትምህርት ሚኒስትሩ ብርሃኑ ነጋ (ፕሮፌሰር) ዛሬ መጋቢት 24 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም በሕዝብ ተወካዮች ምክር ቤት የሰው ሃብት ልማት፣ ሥራ ስምሪትና ቴክኖሎጂ ጉዳዮች ቋሚ ኮሚቴ፣ የ12ኛ ክፍል አገር አቀፍ መልቀቂያ ፈተና የተማሪዎች ውጤት ዝቅተኛ የሆነበትን መንስዔ በተመለከተ ጥናት አቅርበዋል።
ውይይት ሲደረግ ነበር።
በዚህም ወቅት በዩኒቨርስቲ ተማሪዎች ላይ ስለተያዘው እቅድ አብራርተዋል።
ላለፉት ዓመታት (እሳቸው በኃላፊነት ከተሾሙ ጀምሮ) ፣ የ12ኛ ክፍል አገር አቀፍ መልቀቂያ ፈተና የተማሪዎች ውጤት በከፍተኛ ደረጃ ዝቅተኛ እንዲሆን ካደረጉ መንስዔዎች መካከል፣ የመምህራን ብቃትና የተነሳሽነት ማነስ ተጠቃሽ መሆናቸው ጠቁመዋል።
ችግሩን በአጭር ጊዜ ለመፍታት እንዲቻል የተለያዩ ተግበራት እየተሰሩ መሆኑን ሚኒስትሩ ገልጸዋል።
'' የኢትዮጵያ ዩኒቨርስቲ ሰርቪስ '' የሚል መጠሪያ የተሰጠው አሠራር ከ2019 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ ተግባራዊ እንዲደረግ ዕቅድ የተያዘ መሆኑን የገለጹት ሚኒስትሩ፣ " በአራት ዓመት የሚመረቅ ተማሪ፣ የሦስተኛ ዓመት ትምህርቱን እንዳጠናቀቀ ወደ አስተማረው ማኅበረሰበብ ተመልሶ ለአንድ ዓመት የማስተማር አገልግሎት ይሰጥና (ማኅበረሰቡን እንዲያገለግል ይደረግና) እንዲመረቅ ይደረጋል " ሲሉ ተናግረዋል።
ይህም ሲሆን የተማሪዎቹ መሠረታዊ ወጪ የሚሸፈን እንደሚሆንም አክለዋል።
ይህ አሰራር ለተማሪዎች ለራሳቸው የተግባር ትምህርት እንደሚሆንና የበለጠ እንዲበስሉ እንደሚያደርጋቸውም ተናግረዋል።
ተማሪዎች የመምህርነትን ሙያ ተላብሰው በዚያው ወደ ሙያው እንዲያመሩ ዕድል በመፍጠር ለጊዜውም ቢሆን በዘርፉ እየቀነሰ የመጣውን ወደ ሙያው የሚገባ የአስተማሪን ቁጥር ለማሳግ እንደሚረዳም ሚንስትሩ አብራርተዋል።
በቅርቡ በመምህራን ላይ በተደረገ ግምገማ ፣ 100,000 የሚደርስ የመምህራን ዕጥረት መኖሩ መታወቁን የተናገሩት ብርሃኑ (ፕሮፌሰር)፣ አሰራሩ በከፍተኛ ደረጃ ያለውን የመምህራን ዕጥረት እንዲቀንስ የበኩልን እንደሚወጣ አስረድተዋል።
ወደ መምህርነት ሙያ የሚገቡ ሰዎችን ክፍተት ለማስተካከል ከተያዙ ዘርፈ ብዙ የማትጊያ ሥርዓቶች አንዱ፣ መምህራን በአገሪቱ የፋይናንስ ሥርዓት ውስጥ የራሳቸው ድርሻ እንዲኖራቸውና የኑሮ ውድነቱን እንዲቋቋሙ ለማድረግ፣ " የመምህራን ባንክ " ማቋቋም አንዱ እቅድ መሆኑን አንስተዋል።
ባንኩ " በአንድ ዓመት ውስጥ ወደ ሥራ ይገባዋል ብለን እንጠብቃለን " ያሉት ሚኒስትሩ፣ በ2019 ዓ.ም ደግም በእርግጠኝነት ወደ የኢትዮጵያ ዩኒቨርስቲ ሰርቪስ አሰራር እንደሚገባ ጠቁመዋል።

It’s frustrating that the Ethiopian government isn’t supporting A2SV, while billions are spent on 43 universities—many of which barely exist. No Ethiopian university has ever sent a student to Silicon Valley on its own. A2SV has. Repeatedly. Right now, A2SV is doing more for tech talent in Ethiopia than all 43 universities combined. It deserves serious support. #supporta2sv
A2SV (Africa to Silicon Valley), founded by Emre Varol, has already spent over $660,000—without government support—to train and launch the careers of dozens of brilliant Ethiopian developers. These students now work at Google, Amazon, Meta, Palantir, Databricks and other global tech giants.
Now, Emre is in talks to move A2SV’s HQ to Rwanda, where they see the value. He has publicly said that any future funding will not be invested in Ethiopia unless our government or wealthy Ethiopian allies step up and support.

ኢትዮጵያውያን ተማሪዎች በቻይና የሁዋዌ " ቴክፎርጉድ ግሎባል " ውድድርን #አንደኛ በመሆን አሸነፉ።
የኢትዮጵያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ተማሪዎች የሁዋዌ ሲድስ ፎር ዘ ፊውቸር ቴክ ፎር ጉድ ግሎባል ውድድርን አንደኛ በመሆን አሸንፈዋል።
ውድድሩ ከመጋቢት 29 እስከ ሚያዝያ 9 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም የቆየ ሲሆን በቻይና ቤጂንግ እና ሼንዘን የሚገኙ የቴክኖሎጂ ማዕከሎችን ጉብኝትና የተግባር ስልጠናዎችን ካካተተው ዝግጅት ጋር የተካሄደ ነው።
በስድስት ተማሪዎች የተወከለው የኢትዮጵያ ቡድን ተማሪዎቹን ፦
➡️ ከአዲስ አበባ፣
➡️ ከሐረማያ፣
➡️ ከጅማ፣
➡️ ከወልቂጤ
➡️ ከአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ (AASTU) ዩኒቨርስቲዎች ነው ያሰባሰበው።
ቡድኑ በውድድሩ ከሞሮኮ፣ ደቡብ አፍሪካ፤ አርጀንቲና አየርላንድ፣ ማላዊ፣ ቬትናም፣ አረብ ኤምሬትስና ሌሎችን ጨምሮ ከዓለም ዙሪያ ከተውጣጡ 12 ልዩ ቡድኖች ጋር ተወዳድሯል።
የሲድስ ፎር ዘ ፊውቸር ግሎባል አምባሳደር የሆነችው ኢትዮጵያዊቷ ተማሪ አሲያ ከሊፋም በዝግጅቱ በእንግድነት ተገኝታለች።
ተማሪዎቹ በምን ፕሮጀክት አሸነፉ ?
ተማሪዎቹ የእንስሳትን ህመሞች አስቀድሞ ለመለየት በተዘጋጀውና በአርተፊሻል አስተውሎት (AI) በጎለበተው ኤርሊ ቬት (EarlyVet) በተሰኘው ፕሮጀክታቸው ነው የተወዳደሩት። በዚህም ትኩረት ለመሳብ ችለዋል።
ይህ የፈጠራ ፕሮጀክት ከተባበሩት መንግስታት የዘላቂ ልማት ግቦች (SDGs) በተለይም ግብ 2 " ዜሮ ርሃብ " እና ግብ 15 " ህይወት በምድር " ከሚለው ጋር የተጣጣመ መሆኑና በግብርና እና በእንስሳት ጤና ላይ ያሉ ወሳኝ ተግዳሮቶችን ይፈታል ተብሎ እንደሚታመን በውድድሩ ተብራርቷል።
የሁዋዌ ኢትዮጵያ የህዝብ ግንኙነት ዳይሬክተር ሚስተር ሊሚንግ ዬ ምን አሉ ?
ዳይሬክቱ ፥ በቡድኑ ስኬት የተሰማቸውን ደስታ ገልጸው " ድሉ የኢትዮጵያውያን ወጣቶች ልዩ ችሎታ እና ፈጠራ የታየበት ነው " ብለዋል።
መጪው ትውልድ ከጊዜ ወደ ጊዜ እያደገ በመጣው የቴክኖሎጂ ገጽታ ውስጥ እንዲበለጽግ በሚያስፈልገውን ድጋፍ እና እድሎች ማመቻቸቱን ለማስቀጠል ሁዋዌ ቁርጠኛ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።
ቡድኑ ለዓለም አቀፋዊ ውድድር እድል ያገኘው በግንቦት 2016 ዓ.ም በኤሳውራ ሞሮኮ በተካሄደው የክፍለ አህጉራዊ የቴክፎርጉድ (Tech4Good) ውድድር ወቅት ከ17 የአፍሪካ ሀገራት ከተውጣጡ 28 ቡድኖች ጋር ተወዳድሮ አንደኛ በመውጣቱ ነው።
