Comparison of the first skein (on the right) versus one of the last ones I spun (left), there's so much progress! Now the yarn is way thinner and more even :3

I'm really proud of these two bowls I threw and trimmed this morning, they are both made from 900g of clay, which is the most I've ever thrown! owo

The other day I went on a walk along the nearby river, and stumbled upon a huge pile of thin willow branches
I could not help it, my brain thought it was really precious and that I had to take a bunch of them back home to try to make something out of them...

New spinning project!
I started spinning this plant dyed silk my neighbor gave me yeaaars ago
It’s my first time spinning silk and it’s very pleasant! The long staple length makes that one can spin very thin thread, and I sort of like it
The idea for this project is to spin all the silk into a rainbow sequence, and then to ply it with some black sheep (maybe alpaca, we’ll see) wool :3
