I've only ever seen very talented or uniquely intelligent/creative Americans not exhibit this dark aura, this gloominess of outlook and dimness of soul. They are excited by violence, brutal by disposition, inelegant, ignoble; insects: hard yet flexible and soft on the inside.

Their heroes are all Cossacks, and those familiar with the history of that culture will understand; Americans are an enforcer race.

What is your response to Jünger's essay on the Jewish Question?

"I noticed a few years ago a number of authors on works of heroism such as Ernst Jünger and Peter Kemp being republished and aggressively promoted. The same accounts that were promoting these works were hyping up all things hypermasculine as well, like the book Bronze Age Mindset. Yet, everything these accounts were promoting were devoid of the most important facts about race, Jewish power, and capitalism. In fact, many of these accounts were also promoting Christianity."

This is ultimately the danger of Catholicism ‘winning externally’ through Protestant conversions and politicization.

We are today divided from nationalism as much as from God. The old hatred is lost to us.
This is also part of Jünger's turn from ‘vitalism'.

This is also the mistake of racial protest: hatred without an enemy. It is alien to the democratic form in its language, and yet capitulates to its rule of limited struggle. The result is a further abstraction of the problems of race.
Spengler was mistaken in seeing an ultimate war of the races. Any racial conflict will be subsumed by democracy's anti-war character. What is recognised as a race in the shadow of two hundred years of war between America and Russia? Scavengers in the ruins – Mary's offering to the soldiers at the Siege of Jerusalem.

Unfortunately the question of hatred is implicit, or rather, something worse than hatred is the result of nations today, whether pacifist or militarist. How is a nation recognised today? By election of already recognised states within the world’s governing body: the United Nations, or what was better termed the Society of Nations. There is however a contradiction at the heart of this process, on the one hand a nation achieves status as an independent representative of humanity, on the other hand this is only possible through civil war, revolutionary war, or even a perpetual state of crisis.
This is what is behind the current Israel-Palestine crisis, and also the crisis of identity on the left and right regarding which side to support.

Part of what separates the old Left communists from the New Left is the belief in subjectivity, even if this only amounts to a reversal of subjectivity. The New Left views capital as an abstraction, a vector of historicism, which results in a stale type of Enlightenment pessimism.
