Ghosts On A Tree (1933)
🎨 Franz Sedlacek (🇦🇹/🇵🇱, 1891-1972)

At a quick glance they look like vultures in a tree, but closer investigation reveals them to be hunched skeletal figures. Have they stopped in this pastoral landscape en route to another land? Or are they just outside your window, staring menacingly at you?

Franz Sedlacek was an Austrian painter who belonged to the tradition known as "New Objectivity" ("neue Sachlichkeit"), an artistic movement similar to Magical Realism. At the end of the Second World War he "disappeared" as a soldier of the Wehrmacht near Toruń, Poland. He was declared missing on February 1, 1945 and pronounced dead in 1972.

The cherry blossom tree is considered the sacred flower symbolizing the eternal sacred immortal indestructible superior traditional values of Japan. According to the ancient Japanese proverb, "what is cherry blossom to flowers, Samurai are to men." It signifies the highest transcendental supernatural element in man, which in conceived as the superior bearer of his internal strength and the heroism of his spirit and the manifestation of his soul in combat.

💥 Honey Badger Is Metal

In some cases, a pair of lions might actually be easier to deal with, because the lions are at least aware that they can be damaged in such a conflict. Honey badgers have no reservations about getting down, and or dirty to claim what they're after. They are just about as unstoppable as it gets.

But what are they after? Well as fearless as they are, they aren't just looking for a fight, they are looking to infiltrate the den of these Ethiopian wolves and get at their pups. The only thing standing in their way is this pack of determined canids that will do everything they can to stop them.

As you can see, the badgers can pretty much absorb anything the wolves can dish out. Also known as ratels, these tenacious mammals have very thick, stretchy skin that allows them to remain highly mobile, permitting them the ability to turn around and bite an attacker while it's biting them.
