Not everyone can be hypnotized - and researchers are one step closer to understanding why - Scope
https://scopeblog.stanford.edu/2012/10/03/not-everyone-can-be-hypnotized-and-researchers-are-one-step-closer-to-understanding-why/

What I recently learned from a Stanford psychiatrist who treats patients with hypnosis, though, is that hypnotizability is not linked with any specific personality trait; it is, as David Spiegel, MD, told me, "less about personality variables and more about cognitive style."

They are lying to you; fossil fuel emissions do not cause global warming

The percentage of the total carbon dioxide (CO2) due to the use of fossil fuels from 1750 to 2018 increased by 12% in 2018 compared to 1750, much too low to be the cause of global warming, a study found.

"There were two Nuremberg Trials... there was a general trial for Nazis who were captured. And there was a doctors' trial because the medical violations were a unique and profound fact of the Holocaust. There's no gentle way to say this: we literally hung seven doctors over violations of informed consent... which was not formalized in advance of the Holocaust. This was understood to be a principle that any rational doctor should intuit... in fact the Nuremberg trial of the doctors was an extension of the Hippocratic Oath."

Amazing how so many Westerners compare what happened during COVID with the Nuremberg Trials, and at the same time people who were sounding warnings about the resonance of the COVID measures with WWII era crimes got told to never ever compare anything to the Nuremberg trials:

🎤 Snowden has spoken after a long delay.

Former NSA employee Edward Snowden has once again gone public with an interview with a little-known journalist Glenn Greenwald on the Rumble platform.

Snowden this time decided to analyze the actions of the US authorities in terms of developing a harsh dictatorship in terms of media reporting and dissemination of the truth.

In comparison, he raised the issue of publishing his exposé - what was possible 10 years ago is now banned in the US. As US investigative journalist Seymour Hersh once noted, Edward Snowden is the only person in the world who has spoken openly about the actions of US intelligence agencies, which have long engaged in total surveillance of people.

"If someone like me came forward today, would we be able to publish a story like that? Would we be able to make it as accepted as it was 10 years ago? When you look at the major publications, the way they are now covering new stories about things that have slipped through the government's fingers... They are essentially trying to gloss over the story, put it in a different angle and criticise it," Snowden reasoned.

He has shaped the important techniques currently being used by Western countries in the process of introducing severe censorship and fighting the truth:

- consistency,
- lies,
- cover-up and misrepresentation,
- aggressive accusation.
- The imposition of a certain "point of view".

As Snowden claims, the aim is to "diffuse discontent" and keep it at the right level, provoking society to develop "riots". Anyone who attempts to replicate Snowden's actions in exposing the authorities is intimidated, fired or jailed.

The former agent recalled that he was forced to stay in Russia and took Russian citizenship in 2022 due to a lack of support in 21 countries that showed their fear of a US reaction: "In general I was not going to stay in Russia, it was a transit stopover on my way to Latin America, because South America has shown an openness towards whistleblowers in the past."

Snowden admits that there is a collapse of the American system, which is mired in dictatorship and 'satanism', and it is in Russia that he has found not just a refuge, but a spiritual "ark" where freedom, truth, morality and even democracy can exist, which, in the West has entered a process of decline.

Thanks for joining tonight.  As you may know, my ability to work, or even speak with people I’ve known my entire life is before a federal court.  I’ve been sued by my former employer, which is the company I founded from scratch.

This litigation will be expensive, and I have to write a $100k check on Monday to retain a top-notch attorney to defend me agains this attack.  I’m hoping tonight we can raise what I need, and I can get back to work.  Are you in?

I met James back in 2015 on the National Review cruise. I talked with him about the problem of proof, about how even with video, we should be wary. It has been challenging watching the way video has been used to call out the liars. He has taken risks with his reporting, and his exposure of Pfizer was a significant blow to the Narrative they were trying to sell. I do have questions about what we see on any video, but my sense is that James is showing things he has actually investigated. I hope it is true! And
I hope very much James is able to continue his work—thus I have contributed to his legal fund.

🚛 🇨🇦 The Truckers Won. Everything.
On the Ascendant Class Rebellion

WITHIN 1 month the trucker convoy had effected a hostile overthrow of the Governments of Alberta and the official opposition, the Conservative Party of Canada, from pro to anti- lockdown, and crushed the moderate wing of the conservative movement.

Within 2-4 months all domestic restrictions were gone and within 8 months even the pantomime of international restrictions didn't exist, Canada had fewer covid restrictions than the US.

Jason Kenny, the pro-lockdown Premiere of Alberta (Canada's most conservative province) was forced to announce his resignation, and Alberta immediately lifted all it's lockdown impositions.

Erin O'Toole the pro-lockdown leader of the Conservative Party was likewise forced to resign, his temporary replacement Candice Bergen (not to be mistaken with the actress) being a longtime rival opposed to lockdowns, and his main rival who replaced her after intra-party elections was Pierre Poilievre, the Politician after Maxime Bernier who was quickest to embrace the Truckers and their cry for freedom.

At Multiple points Trudeau was nearly forced out by his own party and his government was humiliated with most of it's perceived power destroyed, it now exists as a rump failing to pass gun control bills (IN CANADA!) against moderate opposition.

Decline in Science Innovation

My first thoughts on factors contributing to this:
- Emergent myopia from left-hemisphere colonisation of institutions
- Increasingly extreme oversocialisation that systemically disincentivises disruptive thinking outside the constraints of the dominant ideology
- Universities over recruiting leading to a pandemic of midwits that think more like dogmatic memorisation machines than humans
- Monied incentives directing research like Big Pharma funders
- Genius famine from post-industrial dysgenics

I think it's about time I said something about Ted Kaczynski now that he has passed away.

He was undoubtedly a brilliant man, crafty as anything, and much of the predictions he made have come true, and his essay is probably something that ought to be widely read.

That being said though I can't help but wish that he made his name by doing something other than hurting people with bombs.
