🇺🇦🌾🇷🇴🇲🇩🇺🇸🇪🇺 Ukraine is trying to extend the grain deal without Russia, through the territory of Romania.

The U.S. Embassy in Bucharest announced a "decisive meeting" on Friday in Galati to find solutions to the "Ukrainian grain crisis". The meeting will be attended by representatives of Romania, Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, the European Commission and the United States.

They will look for solutions to consolidate and diversify alternative grain export routes by rail, road and sea.

After Russia's abrupt exit from the Black Sea Grain Initiative, we highlight the following:

➡️Despite Russia’s ruthless destruction of Ukraine’s port infrastructure and grain warehouses, we remain committed to ensuring the continued continuity of Ukrainian grain exports to meet global demand.

➡️a sincere expression of gratitude to Romania for its unwavering efforts to support Ukrainian grain exports.

➡️Improving Alternative Routes: Working together, we are determined to consolidate and diversify alternative routes for grain exports by rail, road and sea, ensuring Ukraine's key role in the global food market.

ℹ️Earlier, on August 8, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the draft law "On the ratification of the intergovernmental agreement on the construction of a bridge across the Dniester", which will become a key element of the Kiev-Chisinau transport corridor.

"Ukrainian exporters will have a convenient route to South-Eastern Europe and will increase the volume of exports of goods," Shmygal said.

According to him, in January-July 2023, Ukraine exported more than 40 million tons of agro-industrial and food industry products , almost 70% of exports for the entire 2022.
