The Vigilant Citizen - Symbols Rule the World
Top 10 Most Sinister PSYOPS Mission Patches | The Vigilant Citizen
Mission patches are used by military and space organizations to identify, symbolize and describe a mission's objectives and its crew. This tradition is also observed in the shady world of PSYOPS where each secret mission of the Pentagon also gets its patch.…

The Hollywood writers strike began at 12:01AM on May 2nd. It’s still going on.
The writers / creators want things to not only go back to the way they were, but also get a bigger piece of the pie. They will get neither. Because Hollywood writes the same social justice laden stories repeatedly, why would anyone pay big money for a writer?
If you’re going to have a tired, predictable, woke piece of schlock come out of the studio; AI and 2 interns can do the trick - for a MUCH lower price.
Owen Benjamin mentioned this on his livestream, and he has a keen eye for such developments, having been near the top of the Hollywood Heap.
Now is a good time to write or produce your story. Write it down and let’s read it.

Sometimes, Only Satire Does The Job...
Authored by Ramesh Thakur via The Brownstone Institute,
Here is my review of Oisín MacAmadáin, Busting Anti-Vax Myths! Seriously EXPERT Arguments for the Covid-Deniers in Your Life (2022), with a Foreword by Dr. Anthony Faucet.
This is a slim, wickedly funny satire of 126 pages organised into ten chapters of rollicking hilarity. It’s a hugely enjoyable book for all those who were critical of lockdowns, masks, and vaccines. As the Brits say, it takes the piss out of all the self-proclaimed Covid experts, the public health clerisy, the media, and people with blind faith in the experts.
Thus the fictitious professor Oisín MacAmadáin informs us of “a good friend in Dublin whose fully vaccinated father died from Covid. He also told me how much worse he knew it could have been.” And all the grannies going merrily about their way in Stockholm “must be brainwashed.

US Navy's "Death Star" Destroyer Prepares For Hypersonic Weapon Installation
In a move that shouldn't surprise readers, the US Navy is wasting even more taxpayers' funds to replace new deck guns of the Zumwalt-class stealth destroyer with missile tubes to house hypersonic weapons.
"USS Zumwalt (DDG-1000) arrived in Pascagoula, Mississippi., today [Saturday] to enter a modernization period and receive technology upgrades including the integration of the Conventional Prompt Strike weapon system," USNI News has learned, citing a statement from the service. It added, "The upgrades will ensure Zumwalt remains one of the most technologically advanced and lethal ships in the US Navy."
Naval warfare journalist and commentator Chris Cavas photographed the guided-missile destroyer as it arrived at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula.
We have told readers in two notes, "US Navy's "Death Star" Destroyer Will Be Armed With Laser Guns And Hypersonic Missiles" and "US Navy's Zumwalt Stealth Destroyers To Get Hypersonic Missiles" about the push to swap out existing twin 155 mm Advanced Gun Systems and replace them with four 87-inch missile tubes.
Each tube will hold three Common Hypersonic Glide Bodies (C-HGB) hypersonic missiles. However, the Congressional Budget Office states, "The United States has not yet fielded such weapons [hypersonic missiles], for both scientific and policy reasons."
Besides the Navy building missile tubes for missiles it doesn't have, the most expensive destroyer ever built for the service has had a series of mechanical failures over the years. Also, it was delivered to the service seven years late and exceeded shipbuilding costs by over 50%.
This is the latest saga of taxpayers' dollars thrown into the abyss, and there's still no clarity on when the US fields hypersonic weapons.

"Requirement to wear masks in hospitals may have had little [zero] impact on COVID-19 transmission during omicron wave"
"Requirements to wear surgical masks in a large London hospital during the first 10 months of omicron activity (December 2021 to September 2022) made no discernible difference to reducing hospital-acquired SARS-CoV-2 infections, according to new research being presented at this year's European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) in Copenhagen, Denmark (15–18 April).
To find out more, researchers from St George's Hospital in south-west London analyzed routinely collected infection control data over a 40-week period between December 4, 2021 (the first week when the omicron variant became dominant) and September 10, 2022 (when universal COVID-19 screening on admission by PCR stopped) to examine hospital-acquired SARS-CoV-2 infections in relation to changes in mask-wearing policies over time.
During the first phase of the study (December 4, 2021 to June 1, 2022), all staff and visitors were required to wear masks in both clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospital. Then in phase two, at week 26 (June 2, 2022 to September 10, 2022) the surgical mask-wearing policy was removed for the majority of wards (study group), while a subset of high-risk wards (i.e., renal hematology and oncology wards, the medical admissions unit and intensive care units) retained the mask obligation policy for staff (control group).
The analysis found that during a general community surge in SARS-CoV-2 infection in June 2022, removal of the mask policy was not associated with a statistically significant change in the rate of hospital-acquired SARS-CoV-2 infection in the study group—with SARS-CoV-2 infection no higher than the rate when masks were obligatory.
What's more, the authors did not observe a delayed effect, with no change in the SARS-CoV-2 infection rate during the time when the mask-wearing policy was removed (weeks 26 to 40).
Similarly, the control group who continued wearing masks, found no immediate or delayed change in infection rate.
"Our study found no evidence that mandatory masking of staff impacts the rate of hospital SARS-CoV-2 infection with the omicron variant," says lead author Dr. Ben Patterson from St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London."
