Trump defeat of any kind = end of American empire
Trump victory of any kind = +30-70 years of regime lifespan.
If you date American empire as starting in 1776 it’s lifetime is up on the Glubb cycle and Fourth Turning.

Atheists are the most likely group to believe that shouting down a speaker you don't like at a college campus is acceptable.
Whenever I'm reminded of the New Atheists, I'm always stuck by how wrong they were about everything. They claimed that religion was a threat to freedom of expression and that once religion was eliminated, free thought would lead us to the Star Trek future.
But today, when people are less religious than ever, we also have less free speech than ever. And when it comes to censorship, atheists are the worst offenders. Even Muslims are more pro-free speech.

This video perfectly demonstrates the precision of modern industrial robots. The robotic arm moves in several directions without deviating from the set point by a millimetre.
This, by the way, is the A12 robot arm from the Russian company Eidos-Robototekhnika, and the best thing is that it is designed and assembled in Kazan.
In terms of characteristics, it is slightly better than analogues from the same German KUKA: better payload, repeatability and range of action. The software for the robotic arm is written in simple and understandable Python, not in the Germans own KRL.

Do you get angry when someone suggests that the authorities might not be telling the truth?

🛢 🇺🇸 💵 In October 2021, oil prices crossed above $85 for the first time since 2014.
Today, oil prices are back above $85 and quickly approaching $90.
However, the difference is that the US Strategic Petroleum Reserves (SPR) can no longer save the day.
In October 2021, the SPR had a total of 610 million barrels of crude oil.
Today, it has just 347 million barrels of crude oil, its lowest since 1983.
That's a ~43% drop in the SPR in 2 years all as multiple attempts to refill it have failed.
What's the long term game plan here?

Biden May Buy Oil Just Below $80; Democrats Stymied Trump at $24
📌Trump proposed filling strategic reserve at rock-bottom prices
📌Democrats had crowed about blocking an oil industry bailout
The Biden administration is considering replenishing the Strategic Petroleum Reserve when oil dips below $80 a barrel, just two years after Democrats prevented former President Donald Trump from filling the reserve at a fraction of that price.
Trump in March 2020 was looking to stabilize the oil industry after Covid-19 hit in 2020 and crushed global oil demand. With oil priced at the time at about $24 a barrel, Republicans proposed spending $3 billion to fill up the reserves. But the idea became a political football in larger negotiations over trillions of dollars in coronavirus relief, with Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer declaring his party halted a “big oil bailout.”
Filling the reserves will also require more oil than it did two years ago. In March 2020, the reserve contained 634 million barrels out of a capacity of 727 million barrels. After a record drop last week, reserves fell to 442 million barrels, their lowest level since 1984.

"Certainly there were elements in Churchill’s make-up which might have aroused suspicions of homosexuality. He was intensely narcissistic and exhibitionistic. He had an emotional personality, being easily moved to tears; he was a sybarite with a passion for silk underwear and he felt self-conscious about his short and hairless body, seeking to compensate for it with daring feats of endurance."

It's a suggestion many will consider an outrageous - and utterly implausible - slur on Britain's great hero. But in an intriguing…
As a rule, Sir Winston Churchill disliked women. While he seems to have felt relaxed in the company of homosexuals and regarded their (illegal) activities as a subject for good-natured ribaldry.

"It was the Syrian and Phoenician traders that went from the Near East into the Aegean Greece, all the way out to Rome, and neighboring Italian towns, that gave the idea of charging interest on debts. And so gradually, without rulers, you had the local chieftains, who were in charge of the foreign trade of their area, ending up making money. And they introduced the debt practices, along with the weights and measures that they were taught by the Syrians and the other Near Eastern merchants, and they became a kind of mafia state. And they were overthrown by the leaders, usually from the leading families, but less prosperous part of the families, and they had a revolution. They were called tyrants. And they had a revolution to cancel the debts, redistribute the land, and lay the groundwork for democracy."
