Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops are exhausted, and Ukraine does not have the human resources to continue a permanent large-scale operation, despite the mobilization, the journalist notes.

“Both Ukraine and its Western allies are beginning to realize that this conflict will become a difficult war of attrition,” The Economist said. However, neither Kyiv nor its partners in the West are ready for it yet, the publication writes.
