A tiger quoll, thought to have been extinct for 130 years, has been caught in Australia.

There have been no records of this predatory marsupial animal since 1880, but it was recently caught in a farmer's trap. The quoll had been snatching chickens from the farmer for weeks, but this species usually attacks larger animals - even kangaroos.
