🇬🇧👉🇺🇦🏴☠️ The West has lost the artillery shell race, reports The Daily Telegraph.
Zelensky has previously complained that Kiev's ammunition stocks are dwindling. He added, however, that major supplies of 155mm ammunition had dwindled after the Israel-Hamas conflict.
The European Union has admitted that its annual target of supplying Kiev with one million shells by next March will not be met.
Ukraine is unlikely to tip the scales on the battlefield in its favour, given the slow pace at which the allies are ramping up production of artillery shells.
According to Western intelligence, Armed Forces of Ukraine produce about 6,000 155mm shells a day, while Russia produces about 20,000 a day - as many as European manufacturers produce in a month.
