🇷🇺✈️ Today, we can say that the rarest event in the history of both military aviation and in the history of Russia happened.
The aircraft of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Russia made a non-stop flight to the United Arab Emirates accompanied by a fighter wing of the Russian Aerospace Forces with weapons.
The rarity is that, in principle, there are only a few such cases in the world, if there were such cases at all, because there are no other such fighters in the world that can fly such distances with weapons, without refueling and without outboard fuel tanks.
After they arrived, they also staged a small air show.
The day was not in vain.

A Compendious History of the Goths, Swedes, and Vandals is a book written by Olaus Magnus, a Swedish archbishop and historian, in the 16th century. It is a historical account of the ancient and medieval peoples of northern Europe, especially the Scandinavians, the Germans, and the Slavs. The book covers topics such as geography, climate, customs, religion, warfare, politics, and legends of these regions. It is based on Magnus’s own observations, as well as classical and medieval sources, and contains many illustrations and maps. The book was first published in Latin in 1555, and later translated into English in 1658. It is considered one of the most important works of early Scandinavian history and culture.

"Revisionists argue that, instead of following an aggressive plan of conquest, Japanese moves were fundamentally defensive efforts to protect vital Japanese interests. And instead of seeing the United States simply reacting to Japanese aggression, as the orthodox version would have it, the revisionists see the United States goading the Japanese—by aiding China (with whom Japan was at war), military expansion, quasi-secret alliances, and economic warfare—to take belligerent actions. Finally, some revisionists go so far as to claim that Roosevelt had foreknowledge of the attack on Pearl Harbor but refused to alert the military commanders in order to have a casus belli to galvanize the American people for war. These revisionists see the effort as part of Roosevelt’s effort to bring the United States into war with Germany—the so-called “back-door-to-war” thesis."

The Case for Pearl Harbor Revisionism
The prevalent view of World War II is that of the “good war”—a Manichaean conflict between good and evil. And a fundamental part of the “good war” thesis has to do with the entrance of the United States into the war as a result of the Japanese attack on Pearl…

Part 2: Is National Divorce a Solution?
This is the second report on the Homeland Institute’s third poll which was conducted through November, 2023 on the topic of national divorce and a number of related issues.
The first report covered the issues of democracy, polarization and balkanization. This second part covers national divorce, redrawing state lines, and the public perception of the different levels of government. Here are some major highlights from Part 2:
We found that 25.4% of all respondents and 32.2% of Republican respondents agreed at least a little with the statement that “America’s political divide is becoming so great that we may be better off allowing some states to secede and go their own way.”
We found that few people feel that any level of government cares about their interests. Republican respondents feel uncared for the most, with suburban Republicans feeling slightly more uncared for than rural Republicans.
Support for the federal government is abysmal, with only 19.5% of all respondents, 8.6% of Republicans, and 36.3% of Democrats at least somewhat agreeing that the federal government cares about their interests.
