☢️ 🇺🇸 NRC Approves Construction for Hermes Reactor
🔶️ The reactor will be built in Oak Ridge, TN and used to inform the development of the company’s fluoride salt-cooled high-temperature reactor.
⬛️ Kairos is planning to have Hermes operational as early as 2026.
🔶️ “This is a huge milestone for the nuclear energy sector,” said Kathryn Huff, the Assistant Secretary for Nuclear Energy. “NRC’s approval of the first ever CPA granted to a Generation IV reactor charts a path forward for future design applications as we work toward deploying new reactor technologies. This accomplishment is a testament to the collaborative work among Kairos, the NRC, DOE and all stakeholders involved in the project.”
🔶️ Hermes is one of several new reactor technologies DOE is supporting through its Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program. The low-power reactor uses a TRISO fuel pebble bed design with a molten fluoride salt coolant to achieve a thermal power level of 35 megawatts.
🔶️ What’s Next?
Kairos Power is conducting salt operations at its first engineering test unit (ETU) in New Mexico. The ETU is a non-nuclear, full-scale mockup of Hermes that will demonstrate key systems and components of the reactor, test the supply chain, and allow workers to gain operational experience.
⬛️ Kairos will build and operate a total of three ETU iterations before constructing Hermes.

❗️🇺🇸🏴☠️🇫🇮 American troops will appear 150 km from St. Petersburg
Finland will station US troops on the border with Russia. On December 18, an agreement on defense cooperation will be signed between the countries, Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen said.
American troops will be able to quickly reach Finland to assist it in the event of a conflict.
PS: I think they won't be able to arrive in Finland faster than the Russian 🚀 Iskanders (1.5 minutes).

😁🇺🇸🏴☠️👉🇷🇺 US intelligence agencies have been searching for a folder containing intelligence on Russia and information on 'Russian agents' for more than two years. It disappeared from the Trump White House, CNN reported.
The file also contained information on Moscow's alleged interference in the US election. The missing folder was so "explosive" that it could only be viewed with the highest security clearance.

↖️ 🇺🇸 🇨🇳 U.S. to reclaim WWII airfield in Pacific, clearing jungle by summer
🔶️ The U.S. military will make "significant progress" toward reclaiming a World War II-era airfield on the Pacific island of Tinian in the upcoming months, an air force general said, part of an initiative to disperse aircraft across the Indo-Pacific region as China's missile threat continues to grow.
🔶️ The U.S. Air Force is stepping up construction at the Tinian North airfield, once used by the largest B-29 bomber fleet during World War II, and at the Tinian International airfield, Gen. Kenneth Wilsbach, commander of the Pacific Air Forces, said in an interview on Wednesday.
🔶️ "If you pay attention in the next few months, you will see significant progress, especially at Tinian North," Wilsbach said.
🔶️ The airfield "has extensive pavement underneath the overgrown jungle. We'll be clearing that jungle out between now and summertime," Wilsbach said, adding that it will be "an extensive" facility once construction is complete.

"The animation quality of the 1940s Superman animated serials has never been equaled since. The art design was a deco vision whose colors were vivacious, subtly layered, and vibrant. The character movement was analog realistic. There was nothing it didn’t get right. And no one has come close to recreating its level of artwork in a superhero cartoon since.

I'm reading about the Silk Road and realizing that anybody immigrating into the West from anywhere in the world that isn't the West is getting hustled big time. These guys are fleeing the world's unmatched economic power zone to live in post-modern shit holes and shop at Kmart.
I'm pretty sure the "corporate interests" (Eastern or Western, who knows at this point) are emptying Afghanistan into Australia so they can lay some Eurasian infrastructure down without any trouble from the gravediggers of Empires AKA Afghanis.
Afghanis won't assimilate here, but that's not my beef with importing them. It's that they are getting booted out of a deeply mineral rich country and everybody pretends we're doing them a favour by giving them visas. Afghan refugees aren't lucky to be here, at all. They're getting completely shafted out of actual wealth in their own land.
Fleeing Asia for this country is like being married to Brad Pitt and then hooking up with Pete Davidson and everybody saying "congratulations". Lolololol
