Vigilant Fox News is wholly funded by The Wellness Company (TWC). This recent hit piece is actually clear cut corporate-funded propaganda. TWC is spending massive amounts of money to purchase the services of influencers, alternative media sites, and physicians to support it's marketing campaigns. Gateway Pundit has also accepted TWC funding. And there are many others. The non-profit Epoch Times corporation did not.

What amazes me is that TWC is basically recapitulating the Big Pharma marketing business model, right down to selling overpriced pharmaceutical supplements, making unsupported claims of efficacy and safety, and relying on high profile physician endorsements. As someone trained in FDA labeling requirements, my impression is that TWC is also failing to comply with FDA labeling requirements.

This irresponsible behavior is not without risk of potential consequences to the entire industry. The risk here is that TWC's irresponsible actions end up being cited in supporting the big Pharma effort to require prenoscriptions for OTC nutraceuticals and vitamin supplements, as is the case in much of the rest of the western world.

Others on the TWC payroll include Children's Health Defense and Daily Clout.

"It’s one thing for Russia to prove that the Empire can’t push it around, it’s another thing for the nation ranked 74th in the world to do so.

"If it is not yet clear to everyone that the US empire is in rapid decline, we can be confident that it is entirely apparent to everyone whose opinion matters."

Someone in the comments section admired Sasha’s 10 second elevator pitch, which sounds like the plot to a dystopian novel.
Which is what our present reality is.

“Overall characterization of what is going on: the federal and most of the state governments are gone and captured. Whatever is running the federal gov agencies (e.g. HHS) really intends to kill you, or at least substantially injure you, damage your reproductive capacity and repossess your assets in the process. The aim is to reduce the population and terrorize the survivors enough to establish a totalitarian control over much of the world’s territory. Nobody is coming to save you, your survival and that of your children is in your hands only. Do not comply."

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one saying, if increasingly harshly, that:

“No one is coming to save us. We can save ourselves, if we want to enough”.

Best wishes
Mike

TIL The controversial practice of docking a dog's tail (i.e. amputation) used to indicate that they they were a "working dog" in 17th-century England and therefore not subject to a luxury tax. This lead many owners to dock the tail in order to avoid the tax.

⚓️ 🌍 🚢 “State actors are starting to realise that they can extend their own naval and commercial power by getting in on the action of “multipolar naval policing”. This will likely soon be followed with bilateral and multilateral diplomatic arrangements and possibly even bespoke shipping insurance arrangements.” - Phillip Pilkington

El Salvador's President. He stepped down recently before his term ended for an early, new election. This sidesteps the term limit restrictions on a President. He has a 90% approval rating.

“I do get the notion that Israel is ‘fighting an existential war’, but as I’ve argued some weeks ago, this fight is essentially over. What the IDF is doing is a kind of ‘rearguard action’ to ensure, primarily, the for-time-being avoidance of ‘due process’ and likely ‘prison time’ for the incumbent PM Benjamin Netanyahoo. In the process, lots of civilians are massacred. By US-supplied ordinance, with the full, if ultimately ambiguous, support of ‘the collective West’.”

TIL that prior to making A Beautiful Mind, Ron Howard developed a different film about a man overcoming schizophrenia. Laws of Madness was an inspirational film about Michael Laudor, a Yale Law School graduate living with schizophrenia. The film was called off when Laudor murdered his girlfriend.

Only Google can be trusted to completely censor "conspiracy theories," and if you really want to read all about it, you should be using the Russian search engine, Yandex.

"Web search engines are important online information intermediaries that are frequently used and highly trusted by the public despite multiple evidence of their outputs being subjected to inaccuracies and biases. One form of such inaccuracy, which so far received little scholarly attention, is the presence of conspiratorial information, namely pages promoting conspiracy theories. We address this gap by conducting a comparative algorithm audit to examine the distribution of conspiratorial information in search results across five search engines: Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo and Yandex. Using a virtual agent-based infrastructure, we systematically collect search outputs for six conspiracy theory-related queries (flat earth, new world order, qanon, 9/11, illuminati, george soros) across three locations (two in the US and one in the UK) and two observation periods (March and May 2021). We find that all search engines except Google consistently displayed conspiracy-promoting results and returned links to conspiracy-dedicated websites in their top results, although the share of such content varied across queries. Most conspiracy-promoting results came from social media and conspiracy-dedicated websites while conspiracy-debunking information was shared by scientific websites and, to a lesser extent, legacy media. The fact that these observations are consistent across different locations and time periods highlight the possibility of some search engines systematically prioritizing conspiracy-promoting content and, thus, amplifying their distribution in the online environments."
