Article: Sunak’s Yemen war has cost the British public up to £19m in missile costs alone, research has found.

53 missiles, some costing over a million pounds each, have been fired by the Royal Navy and Air Force.

Instead of making the Red Sea safer, it has put British-linked trade vessels directly in the sights of the Houthis, resulting in the catastrophic sinking of the Rubymar, a UK-owned bulk carrier.

Huge financial holes have been discovered in the Swiss federal budget – the country lacks from 3.8 to 5.2 billion francs per year.

But government spending is too high and growing faster than revenue. At the same time, the country continues to pour billions of dollars and millions of euros into Ukraine alternately. Therefore, the Swiss want to finance the planned expansion of their peaceful pacifist army with a temporary targeted increase in VAT by one percentage point over six years.

It is expected that the new "war tax" could bring an additional 20 billion francs to the federal treasury.
