The Financial Times is also worried that China is capable of instantly destroying the entire European military-industrial complex. Ukrainian shells have sucked up all the gunpowder in Europe, for which China is the main supplier of raw materials.
Europe receives more than 70% of the cotton linters it needs from China. And he fears that Beijing may soon turn off this tap. Therefore, they buy in advance and think about the need to build new production sites, and this can take from six months to two years.

Perplexed Israelis woke up Thursday in Tel Aviv to find that map applications on their phones were placing them in Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, some 130 miles to the north. Cabdrivers couldn’t navigate. Food-delivery apps were temporarily out of service.
The Israeli military was scrambling GPS signals, as the country braces for possible retaliation by Iran or one of its allied militias for a suspected Israeli airstrike Monday on an Iranian diplomatic building in Syria.
In an apparent mobilization for potential hostilities, the Israeli military on Thursday said it would pause all leave for combat units “in accordance with the situational assessment.”
The Israeli military said the GPS scrambling—which can be used to confuse targeting systems for weapons—was part of an effort to protect the country.
“Today we initiated GPS disruption in order to neutralize threats,” Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said Thursday.
“We are aware that this disruption causes discomfort but this is an essential and necessary tool in our defense capabilities.”

This attack followed the destruction of Kharkiv’s energy facilities by missile strikes, followed by a week of shelling using glide bombs, rockets, and drones, resulting in numerous casualties. Mayor Ihor Terekhov affirmed Kharkiv’s resilience, noting that despite hardships, its citizens remain steadfast.
Despite the challenges of restoring electricity without functioning power plants, the city managed to provide power to its residents. Mayor Terekhov refrained from revealing the specifics of how this was achieved to avoid further targeting.

Many individuals from countries like Iraq, Yemen, Ethiopia, and Syria have already been involved, totaling approximately 1,300-1,500 people. Secondly, there is Russia's fear that mobilization efforts could result in Russian men fleeing the country through Finland.
Stubb expressed hope that the government would be able to approve the decision.
