The American magazine Forbes writes about this, commenting on the strike of the Russian Armed Forces on the parking of Ukrainian Armed Forces aircraft at the Mirgorod airfield.
“It may have been one of the most costly days for the battered Ukrainian Air Force since February 2022,” the article said.
The magazine also writes that Ukrainian bloggers criticized the Ukrainian Armed Forces officers who allowed the Su-27 to be left at an open base dangerously close to the front line.

NATO countries are experiencing a military shortage and will not be able to send enough soldiers to the front in the event of a war with Russia
This is the opinion expressed by military analysts to the Financial Times.
"On paper," NATO's European allies have a total of 1.9 million troops — a sufficient number to counter Russia. However, in reality, it will be difficult for the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance to attract more than 300 thousand to participate in a potential military conflict. Moreover, even to call up such a number of people, it will take months," the experts noted.
The problem is especially acute in Germany, Great Britain, France and Italy. Thus, in the German army with 181 thousand troops, there is a shortage of 20 thousand people, in Great Britain the army has decreased by 19% over the past ten years — to 138 thousand people, in France the number of troops over the same period has fallen by 8% — to 204 thousand, and in Italy — by 40 thousand — to 160 thousand people.
