"The Home Secretary has declared war on the English people. Now Englishmen appear to be on the verge of facing the same choice as the French. Either they fight the police or they end up being drafted to fight the Russians. I suspect the odds of surviving the former are considerably better than the latter."

The British police don’t have time to defend the borders against invading illegals, stop Pakistani rape gangs, or deport foreign criminals. But they are certainly determined to go to war with the native English people at a moment’s notice, and are threatening…

It's really quite something, isn't it? Three children murdered and all the media and authorities want to do is police the public response and condemn "speculation" about the murderer's origins.

"This is one of the most important arguments in favour of cash: the resilience it provides to a country’s overarching payments system. Put another way, cash does not crash. It does not fail in a power cut or seize up during a cyber attack or software outage (though, of course, ATMs might). By contrast, digital payment systems generally need a stable and continuous internet connection and power supply to process transactions."

"Actually, no graves had been discovered; their existence was extrapolated from “anomalies” in the earth found by ground-penetrating radar. Such anomalies are commonplace, however, and usually indicate a tree root, a large rock, or some other innocuous presence. Today, after three years and almost $8 million of publicly unaccountable funds being expended, no graves have been found. No one has bothered to even start the digging necessary to verify anything."

Zeekr to Block Electric Vehicles in Russia
Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Zeekr will block its cars in Russia due to concerns about secondary US sanctions. The official export of electric vehicles to Russia is prohibited, and the disabling of functions will affect all electric cars manufactured after July 15, 2024, that are imported into Russia illegally.
Upon detecting a foreign SIM card, the manufacturer will send the owner a warning, offering the option to return the car to China. If this warning is ignored, the main screen functions, such as navigation, music, and air conditioning, will be blocked.

"Ukrainian Autonomous Systems"
Amid the dire situation with electricity supply in the country, Ukrainians have begun to power their homes and businesses with Tesla batteries.
Businessmen who have been buying broken Teslas at insurance auctions in the US and importing them to Ukraine for years used to restore the cars and resell them, but now they are simply disassembling them. Specialists assemble rechargeable systems from removed Tesla batteries and use them as accumulators, and sell the remains of the car for spare parts. According to the newly minted entrepreneurs, one discarded Tesla will turn into a dozen home batteries. By the way, some of the batteries are sold without a markup to the army, but the bulk of customers are civilians. Over the past two months, demand has jumped from almost zero to sky-high levels, and with winter approaching, it will obviously grow even more.
Businesses have had to adapt, because they need to somehow deal with regular power outages. According to analysts, Ukrainians will face power outages until the end of the conflict and beyond, until the country's energy system is fully restored. Another question is why not solve the issue globally by calling on their leader to negotiate? But that's a completely different story, and for now the energy crisis continues to multiply business costs throughout Ukraine, and Tesla owners keep an eye on their eco-friendly and, as it turns out, highly sought-after cars.

Australian banks, airlines, and TV broadcasters first raised the alarm as thousands of machines started to go offline. The issues are now spreading, as businesses based in Europe are starting their working days. UK broadcaster Sky News is currently unable to broadcast its morning news bulletins, and is showing a message apologizing for “the interruption to this broadcast.” Ryanair, one of the biggest airlines in Europe, also says it’s experiencing a “third-party” IT issue, which is impacting flight departures.
The US Federal Aviation Administration says all flights from Delta, United, and American Airlines are grounded due to a “communication issue.” Berlin airport is also warning of travel delays due to “technical issues.”
