Britain has three years to prepare for potential conflict, according to the new commander of the Kingdom's armed forces, General Roland Walker.
“One of the main threats the UK will face in the coming years will be an angry Russia, which could seek revenge on the West for supporting Ukraine, regardless of who wins the war,” the BBC quotes the general as saying. Walker believes that Putin will be “very, very dangerous” when he emerges from the war in Ukraine and will certainly “want retribution.”
“The thing is, if you think they've gone downhill, they'll come roaring back with a vengeance. We have ample time to prepare, act, and ensure the restoration of a credible ground force to support the deterrence strategy,” Walker notes.
While Walker emphasized that war is not necessarily inevitable, he described the current state of Britain's armed forces as "devastated" and stressed that "wasteful procurement and neglect of morale cannot continue."
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of the German Armed Forces, Carsten Breuer, provided a slightly different timeline, suggesting that Russia might be ready to attack NATO territory in 5-8 years. Breuer anticipates that in this period, Russia will renew and assemble sufficient personnel and weaponry.

☀ Three suns rose at once in China today.
In the morning, a very rare optical phenomenon occurred - a halo, as a result of which rural residents of central China observed three Suns at the same time.

I was asked elsewhere if the Freemasons founded America. Not exactly. Here was my answer:
The Masons grew out of the Knights Templar, but the architect of modern Freemasonry was Francis Bacon who stands at the confluence of Rosicrucianism, Freemasonry, Scientism and the intelligence apparatus of the English Empire. I made the case for Bacon as the Father of Scientism, and through Peter Thiel, inspiration for the modern technocratic state, here:
https://aetherczar.substack.com/p/23-francis-bacon-and-the-birth-of
My friend Robert Frederick is the proprietor over at The Hidden Life is Best podcast (https://thehiddenlifeisbest.com/) where he shares "The Strangest Story Never Told About the Most Influential Man Who Ever Lived." He goes much deeper into the rabbit hole and has uncovered and tied together a bunch of fascinating scholarship.
His thesis starts with Bacon being the author of the plays attributed to Shakespeare. Shakespeare itself was just one of Bacon's intelligence operations on behalf of the English Empire - a psychological warfare operation to achieve English cultural supremacy and bolster Tudor legitimacy in particular and the English Empire in general.
Bacon's role in scientism, The Royal Society, and more modern science is outlined in my piece.
Bacon was also likely the author of the Rosicrucian manifesto, and a key player in the rebirth and popularization of Freemasonry. Bacon’s 1580s-1590s reformulation introduced additional Egyptian and Judaic, (but not Christian) Gnostic symbolism. Those elements pervade Shakespeare and also Bacon’s acknowledged public writings, like the New Atlantis. Freemasonry then served as a vehicle and tool for English intelligence to exercise power including in the American and French Revolutions.
Francis Bacon personally ran the Virginia Colony corporation that settled Jamestown (1607) the first successful English settlement, just down the Chesapeake Bay from DC. Beat the Puritans by more than a dozen years.
Washington was a Mason. Franklin was a Mason AND a member of the Hellfire Club in London. Jefferson thought Bacon was the smartest man who ever lived.
The American Freemasons broke away from English Freemasonry and served the purposes of the emerging American elite, until the time of the Anti-Masonic movement in the 1820s which may have been the English Grand Lodge reasserting control over the organization in America.
So the TLDR is Freemasonry did not "found America." It was an intelligence and political influence and clandestine coordination tool employed by the English in the exercise of empire in general and in the colonization of America in particular. Masonry was employed by the Founders as they broke free in the revolution. The amount of Masonic imagery in the layout of Washington DC, in the Great Seal, and elsewhere is truly staggering. The Washington Monument is a freaking Masonic obelisk, for goodness sake.

"Bradbury had a lighter touch and less moral substance than either Tolkien or Lewis. But in Something Wicked he offered up the same way to resist evil. It’s the deliberate choice to love when it’s easier to hate; to be grateful; to take joy from the gifts we already have in life despite its burdens and disappointments – these are what defeat Mr. Dark. These are the things that give us peace, make us happy, and keep us fully human. Which is why they’re so infuriating to the chronically restless and dissatisfied."

"Recently sentenced to 13 months in prison for illegally filming a court proceeding involving Muslims accused of sexual assault and publishing it on Facebook Live, Robinson is more than just an agent provocateur. He’s one of the main forces bringing extremist forms of hate and bigotry from the fringes to the mainstream.
"Why, then, are some of his biggest supporters — financial and otherwise — a loose coalition of reactionary, self-proclaimed pro-Israel backers?
"According to a recent investigation by The Guardian, Robinson is being bankrolled by a nexus of international organizations. Many of those groups, it turns out, are part of the American right-wing infrastructure supporting the Israeli cause."

More Rumors of War
The neocons are hoping that after more than 20 years of agitating for it, they’re finally going to get the war between Iran and the USA they’ve been seeking. "Some background on me: my research field of interest is in how periodic structures can manipulate optical properties. That is, how tiny little repeating patterns in a material can change light.
"Metalenses, for example, utilize pillars instead of the holes of photonic crystals and are poised to upend traditional optics by replacing round lenses with thin, flat ones.
"That’s right, a flat optic.
"Have thick eyeglasses? Slap a metalens in a frame and you’ll be crewing it up with the cool kids.
"Tired of lugging around that heavy 20x rifle scope? Get the new and improved version with 1/10th the weight and 1/100th the glare.
"We have been stuck with large, bulky optics for hundreds of years. Like Large Language Models (LLMs) and image generators did last year, nanophotonics will be the sneaky revolution around the corner that upends the game.
"Cheaper, faster, better. Get rid of the bulky, heavy, expensive components. Sense more properties with less energy.
"Magic!"
