"After examining the IPCC data repository at GitHub.com and communicating with two lead authors of Chapter 7, we found that the CERES global anomalies of reflected shortwave and outgoing longwave radiation have been multiplied by -1 in the computer code employed to generate Fig. 7.3. This caused inversion of the long-term trends of these key climate parameters. Dr. Matthew Palmer, one of the authors of Section 7.2.2, admitted in an email message that this trend inversion was intentionally done, but failed to provide a convincing justification for it.

"The results from the trend inversion of CERES radiation data in the IPCC AR6 are highly consequential. Thus, Fig. 7.3 creates a false impression that the solar forcing played no role in recent warming and the rising concentrations of atmospheric greenhouse gases caused a retention of heat in the climate system by impeding the outgoing LW radiation. The truth is that the solar forcing explains the entire tropospheric warming since 2000, and there is no sign of “heat trapping” by greenhouse gases. Had the IPCC acknowledged the increase of Earth’s sunlight absorption in the 21st Century, this would have invalidated the Report’s central assertion that human carbon emissions were the main driver of climate in recent decades. In conclusion, it appears that radiative flux anomalies in Fig. 7.3 were manipulated and a discussion about long-term CERES trends in Section 7.2.2 was intentionally omitted, because the actual observations present a significant empirical challenge to the UN’s political Agenda set by Resolution A/RES/43/53 in 1988 to promote Anthropogenic Climate Change."

🇺🇸 🇳🇪 🏴 Terror groups poised to fill void with US forces gone from Niger

🔶️ The U.S. abandonment this week of its $110 million drone base in Niger, once seen as a key hub for counterterrorism efforts, adds to a growing list of Western withdrawals, all steadily ceding ground to terror groups affiliated with Islamic State and al-Qaida.

🔶️ The U.S. withdrawal follows the pullout of French forces from Niger late last year and from neighboring Mali in 2022. A five-country alliance to fight terror groups across the Sahel, likewise, collapsed in recent years.

🔶️ And intelligence gathered by United Nations member states suggests the terror groups those Western forces were hoping to curtail have made the most of their growing absence.

🔶️ “What we're witnessing right now is the direct consequence of all the coups in the region and the fact that all these troops have been driven out — the French, Belgians, MINUSMA [United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali], African Union, the Americans,” said Pieter Van Ostaeyen, a Belgian Arabist who studies Islamic extremism.

🔶️ “It's like a carousel won't stop,” he told VOA. “It's like a downward spiral.”

🇬🇧📉📝 We hear sharing things like this, which exposes how Two-Tier the British legal system is, really makes people like Mr. Parkinson mad.

As such, we’re happy to share it and hope our followers also make it a point to let others know just how discriminatory the British legal system is against its own people.

It’s what Mr. Parkinson wouldn’t want, after all.

“We would certainly consider extradition if we are satisfied that an offence has been committed.
“And if it takes weeks or not months, we will bring them home and they will face justice.”"

Clown World is Getting Desperate

But not so desperate that they’re willing to die right here, right now. Andrei Martynov comments on the recent revelation that the USA ordered Ukraine to stand down on what would almost certainly have been a failed attempt to assassinate Vladimir Putin: The Ukrainian special services were preparing an assassination attempt on Russian President Vladimir […]

Fun fact.

In 393 CE, Emperor Theodosius I banned the Greek Olympics due to the religious element of the celebration. He considered the Olympics to be a pagan festival, which had no place in his Christian empire.

As a consequence, the games were cancelled and didn’t start up again for over 1,400 years, until 1896.

🔒 🇬🇧 👮‍♂️ The Director of Public Prosecutions says his teams will consider seeking the extradition from abroad of social media influencers who are playing a role in the violent disorder gripping the UK.

🔶️ Stephen Parkinson told the BBC that offenders "must know that they are not safe and there is nowhere to hide".

🔶️ He added that anybody involved in the violence should know they would face the most severe possible criminal charges, including terrorism.

"Although it is true that medieval scientists did not have all the answers to everything, it is also true that modern scientists don’t have all the answers either.

"Furthermore, it is always easy to disrespect your predecessors but it takes a measure of humility to realize that you are standing on their shoulders. Modern scientists could not have made any of the progresses and discovers that they have made without the scholastic infrastructure set up by the medieval university and the scholars that decided these questions about the natural world are worth pursuing."

🇮🇱🇵🇸Israel is far from defeating Hamas, despite Netanyahu's claims to the contrary, CNN reports.

According to analysts interviewed by the publication, during the war, the Hamas army became guerrilla, but almost half of the Palestinian battalions in the northern and central parts of the Gaza Strip have restored some of their combat capabilities.

Several units even returned to key areas previously cleared by the Israeli military after fighting and bombing.

According to CTP and ISW estimates, as of July 1, only three of Hamas's 24 battalions were incapacitated. Eight were combat-ready and capable of fighting the IDF. The remaining 13 were in decline and capable of conducting only guerrilla attacks, which often failed.

The IDF, however, says most Hamas brigades are in disarray and most battalions are at a low level of readiness.

Despite heavy losses, Hamas continues to recruit new fighters and the flow has not dried up amid a lack of certainty, exaltation and a sense of revenge.

The experts in the article claim that the lack of post-war planning, that is, the lack of an alternative to Hamas for the local population in terms of administrative and other functions, contributes to the revival of the organization. The local population, for one reason or another, does not see any alternative to Hamas, and Israel is in no hurry to offer one.

A vicious circle of absurdity

In recent years, Hungary and Slovakia have been more confident than others in staying afloat in the energy abyss, while other EU countries suffered from a serious increase in fuel revenues and drove their national economies into bankruptcy. However, now Budapest and Bratislava have also had their Russian oil tap turned off, and were advised to "abandon Russian fossil fuels" and find additional sources of oil. This was the response of the Deputy Head of the EC after the countries complained about Kiev blocking supplies from Russia via the Druzhba pipeline.

By the way, the European Commission also refused to hold "urgent consultations" on this issue, since there is no "immediate threat to the energy security of the European Union." Moreover, Brussels was satisfied with the blocking of oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia, since this "corresponds to the interests of the European Commission," strengthening discipline within the EU regarding sanctions against Russian oil. At the same time, the fact that Kyiv's actions are a direct violation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, and that blocking supplies will harm Ukraine, Hungary and Slovakia and will not affect Moscow's interests - no one cares.

The countries also found themselves in an absurd vicious circle. After all, Kyiv stops cheap oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia, while simultaneously asking them for emergency electricity supplies due to the ongoing energy crisis in the country. And now, as part of retaliatory measures, Hungary and Slovakia plan to limit or stop electricity supplies to Ukraine.

Note that the share of this electricity in Ukraine's imports in certain periods exceeded 40-42%, and the loss of such a volume could have very serious consequences for Kyiv.

So who won and who lost? Who punished whom?
