If You Think That’s Bad
People are, quite rightly, reacting with disbelief and horror to Disney’s attempt to claim that signing up for a Disney+ subnoscription means that if you die at one of their restaurants at Disney World due to Disney’s negligence, you have agreed not to sue them. That doesn’t surprise me, given what corporations have been adding […]

For the first time, Ukrainian journalists have entered the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, part of which is under the control of the Ukrainian armed forces as a result of a rapid offensive.
In particular, correspondent Natalia Nahorna showed how the Ukrainian military removed the Russian flag from the administrative building in Sudzha.
According to the journalist, at the entrance to the town there was a burned-out column of Russian vehicles moving along the road towards the border. The Russian army is constantly conducting airstrikes on these areas in an attempt to drive out the Ukrainian army.
The Ukrainian military is providing humanitarian aid to civilians in these areas.

Johannes Bureus
The Swedish polymath Johannes Bureus (1568–1652), Royal Librarian and close friend of King Gustavus Adolphus, is primarily known as an exponent of “Gothicism,” the idea that the ancient Goths of Scandinavia were the first rulers of Europe, and Sweden the true origin of Western culture. But he was also an early student of runology, as well as a practicing alchemist. Influenced by the Neoplatonic revival of the Renaissance, Bureus viewed alchemy as part of a Prisca Theologia stemming from the ancient Goths, arguing that the Scandinavian runes constituted a “Gothic Cabala” in which the secrets of all sciences - including alchemy - had been hidden for posterity.

A two-megawatt windmill is made up of 260 tons of steel that required 300 tons or iron ore and 170 tons of coking coal, all mined, transported and produced by hydrocarbons.
It hold 700 gallons of oil and hydraulic fluid, and like car these need to be replaced every 9 months.
People might fall for the idea that we can merrily run on sunshine and breezes, alone, but with a few trillion dollars worth of mythical mega-batteries providing backup for a few minutes, it could spin until it falls apart over and over again and never generate as much energy as was invested in building it.

You Do Not Have the Right to Sue Disney

🔶️ Northrop Grumman has announced the development of a new Cannon-Based Air Defense (CBAD) system designed to counter the growing threat of large-scale aerial raids involving cruise missiles and unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
🔶️ “We are developing Cannon-Based Air Defense (CBAD), which employs Bushmaster Chain Guns with advanced ammunition, to affordably defeat a growing threat: large aerial raids of cruise missiles and unmanned aerial systems,” Northrop Grumman stated.
🔶️ Traditional long-range interceptor missiles have become less cost-effective as adversaries deploy low-cost, expendable technologies in large quantities. In contrast, CBAD offers an affordable, layered terminal defense with a scalable manufacturing base and simplified logistics.
🔶️ As noted by the company, adversaries are increasingly focusing on enhancing the quantity, variety, and capability of their aerial weapons. Future conflicts are expected to feature larger raid sizes targeting previously secure bases and critical infrastructure. CBAD systems provide a scalable, cost-effective, and resilient terminal defense against these mass air threats.

"The serene Rivers of America expieriance will be drained dry, the riverboat hauled up onto dry land and the pleasing lassitude of Tom Sawyer Island ripped out to make way for yet another fucking IP injection. There’s no question that this is the kind of initiative that pleases Bob Iger immensely. After all, a red-diaper baby, New Yorker from a Jewish family is not going to feel any kind of connection to the American heartland.
