BASED - Dual citizens elected to United States Congress should renounce citizenship in all other countries.
At a minimum, they should disclose their citizenship in other countries and abstain from votes specifically benefitting those countries

Stephen Colbert's audience exploded into laughter when Colbert said, stone-faced, that CNN objectively reports the news.
Kaitlan Collins asked: "Is that supposed to be a laugh line?" to which Colbert replied, "No."
Ouch. CNN has lost all credibility, even among liberals.

🗓 On August 18, 1682 Peter the Great ascended the throne of the Russian Kingdom.
Peter I the Great was an outstanding statesman, the Moscow Tsar from the Romanov dynasty, the All-Russian Emperor since 1721, a great reformer. Under him, Russia became the Russian Empire and global and important changes took place in the state.
The foreign policy of Peter the Great was focused on finding allies in the war with the Ottoman Empire. For this purpose, Peter went to Europe.
In domestic policy, he carried out church reform, financial reform, transformations in industry, culture, and trade. In education, he also carried out a number of reforms aimed at mass education: many schools for children and the first gymnasium in Russia were opened.
The strong personality of Peter the Great who sought to change not only the state, but also the people, played a crucial role in the history of Russia.

The issue of nationalism in Turkey is very interesting, in fact all the conflict between "Civic Nationalism" and "Ethnic Nationalism" that you think exists in Europe or the West pales in comparison to what has been going on in Turkey.
There Erdogan, who is a civic and religious nationalist, has invaded the country with Kurds and Arabs, who commit many crimes against the natives. We saw for example how the fury of the native Turks exploded a few weeks ago against the immigrants.
Ethnically speaking, the brain drain of superior genetics is very noticeable as many Turks of Mediterranean, Anatolian, Balkan and Slavic or Central European genetics have fled the country. I remember watching a documentary on the creation of Bayraktar and it was not difficult to notice that 80% of the engineers had light eyes or a Mediterranean look. While the streets are more and more filled with Kurds and Arabs.
This is one of the reasons for the economic collapse of the country in the last years, the genetics of the country was very problematic, but after Erdogan's passing it is simply apocalyptic, this is evidenced by the resurgence of Islam in the country, which is based on a base of immigrant believers, while Kemalism and its created variants, as well as even liberalism, supported by a superior ethnic base have been losing relevance in the country.

🚨🚨 RFK JR. Offered to Endorse Kamala Harris in Exchange for Cabinet Job
WAPO: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Tried To Meet with Kamala Harris To Discuss Cabinet Job
According to the report, RFK offered to endorse Harris in exchange for a position such as a Cabinet secretary.
RFK made a similar proposal to Donald Trump last month during a meeting that didn't end in an agreement.
The video [attached], believed to be the same meeting, was leaked showing Trump urging Kennedy to endorse him.
Harris "rebuffed" RFK's offer as reported by The Post.
Since Biden dropped out, Kennedy has dropped from about 9% to 5% in national polling.

said Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada MP Mariana Bezuglay, criticizing the decisions the Ukrainian commander-in-chief, Alexander Syrsky.
In such circumstances, the surrender of Pokrovsko is "a matter of the near future", while "Toretsk ends its last days", added Bezglaya, noting that "there are no Ukrainian fortifications" behind those cities.

⚡️🇵🇸🇮🇱 The Israeli Defense Forces continue their airstrikes in the Gaza Strip
At least ten people were killed in the Israeli attack on the "Mustafa Hafez" school in the western part of Gaza City, according to the Gaza Civil Defense. Also, at least four civilians were killed during the Israeli bombardment of the Deir el-Balah settlement in the central part of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli Defense Forces, on the other hand, announced that they carried out an air attack on the "Hamas command center", which, they claim, was located within the school.

Yeah, It’s Gonna Suck: Disney’s Snow White
At least I won’t have to see it until next year. A lot can happen in a year. Civilization might fall. Elon might raid Disney. My frozen spaghetti in a waffle cone idea could be a surprise hit. A lot can happen in a year. What won’t happen is Snow White becoming a good movie.

IT IS MY DUTY AS A US CITIZEN TO HOLD MY GOVT ACCOUNTABLE FOR WHAT IT DOES IN MY NAME

In his concurring opinion of the landmark 1971 Supreme Court decision, The New York Times v. The United States, Justice Hugo Black noted the following:
“The press was to serve the governed, not the governors. The Government’s power to censor the press was abolished so that the press would remain forever free to censure the Government. The press was protected so that it could bare the secrets of the government and inform the people. Only a free and unrestrained press can effectively expose deception in government. And paramount among the responsibilities of a free press is the duty to prevent any part of the government from deceiving the people and sending them off to distant lands to die of foreign fevers and foreign shot and shell.”
