The Knights Hospitaller (Order of St. John) in Russia

The painting depicts Russian Emperor Paul I wearing the uniform of a Knight of Saint John. This is not part of a Catholic conspiracy, nor was the emperor Catholic. The Knights Hospitaller were massacred in France while defending the French empire against Jacobin forces. The order was abolished in post-revolutionary France, and when Napoleon landed in Malta in June 1798, the Knights went into exile, with some fleeing to Russia. The Order's German Grand Master, Ferdinand von Hompesch, sought Russia’s protection and financial backing, leading to the establishment of the Grand Priory of Russia for the Order of Malta in Saint Petersburg in 1797. In October 1798, Emperor Paul was proclaimed the new Grand Master of the Order of Malta. Russia had already established diplomatic relations with the Knights Hospitaller as early as 1698 to negotiate a Russo-Maltese pact against the Ottoman Empire, resulting in a joint plan in 1768 to invade Ottoman-controlled Greece. The Russian branch of the Knights Hospitaller continued to exist until the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917. Remnants of the order emigrated from Russia and attempted to preserve it in exile. A recognized remnant of the chivalric order still in existence is "The Most Holy Orthodox Hospitallers," founded in 1972 by Archbishop Makarios of Cyprus. A notable similarity between the Jacobin revolutionaries and the Bolshevik revolutionaries was their shared intent to eliminate this order.

Bill Gates on the spread of so-called "misinformation":

"We should have free speech, but... if you're causing people not to take vaccines, where are those boundaries?"

"Even the US should have rules. And then if you have rules... is there some AI that encodes those rules, because... if you catch it a day later, the harm is done."

READ THE DAMN CONSTITUTION

Stop interfering in Free Speech.

Stop restricting a free press.

And start trusting the American people to be able to make up their own minds without being told what to think by Big Brother.

You violate your oath every day.

You are the greatest domestic threat to the Constitution of the United States.

You are an enemy of we, the people.

Eggs Do Not Raise Cholesterol

The link between eating eggs and high cholesterol is just another case of malscientific nonsense: Dr Norwitz said: ‘I hypothesized that eating 720 eggs in one month, which alone amounts to 133,200mg of cholesterol, would not increase my cholesterol. Specifically, it would not increase my LDL cholesterol. ‘And, indeed, it didn’t, not a smidge.’ He […]

"In the Champagne region of France—a lavishly furnished tomb belonging to a Celtic prince dating back to the 5th century BC. Located in Lavau. The prince was buried with a chariot, surrounded by treasures that included an intricately decorated bronze cauldron, Greek and Etruscan pottery, and a golden torc, one of the most iconic symbols of Celtic royalty. Among the remarkable finds was a unique 5-foot-wide bronze cauldron, adorned with the head of the Greek river god Achelous, featuring large horns. This cauldron, believed to have been imported from Greece or Etruria, likely served a ceremonial purpose for feasts or rituals involving the consumption of wine.
These artifacts suggest the Celts had far-reaching trade connections, even with Mediterranean cultures, highlighting their significance in early European history. The discovery of the tomb not only sheds light on the burial practices and craftsmanship of the time but also reinforces the Celtic tribes’ sophisticated status during the Iron Age."
