Brownstone Institute has been tracking a little-known federal agency for years. It is part of the Department of Homeland Security created after 9-11. It is called the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency or CISA. It was created in 2018 out of a 2017 executive order that seemed to make sense. It was a mandate to secure American digital infrastructure against foreign attack and infiltration.

And yet during the Covid year, it assumed three huge jobs. It was the agency responsible for dividing the workforce between essential and nonessential. It led the way on censorship efforts. And it handled election security for 2020 and 2022, which, if you understand the implications of that, should make you spit out your coffee upon learning.

More than any other agency, it became the operationally relevant government during this period. It was the agency that worked through third parties and packet-switching networking to take down your Facebook group. It worked through all kinds of intermediaries to keep a lid on Twitter. It managed LinkedIn, Instagram, and most of the other mainstream platforms in a way that made you feel like your opinions were too crazy to see the light of day.

The most astonishing court document just came out. It was unearthed in the course of litigation undertaken by America First Legal. It has no redaction. It is a reverse chronicle of most of what they did from February 2020 until last year. It is 500 pages long. The version available now takes an age to download, so we shrunk it and put it on fast view so you can see the entire thing.

The Azerbaijani parliament has warned Russia of potential deterioration in relations over what it describes as lies surrounding the downing of a plane near Aktau, The Moscow Times reports.

Rasim Musabekov, a member of the Azerbaijani Mejlis's international affairs committee, stated that an Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) Embraer 190, flying from Baku to Grozny, was struck by a Russian air defense system (ADS) before crashing in Aktau. "The plane was shot down on Russian territory, in the sky over Grozny, and it is impossible to deny this," Musabekov said in an interview with Turan.

Musabekov criticized the Russian authorities for their response, accusing them of attempting to cover up the incident through media manipulation rather than offering an apology or holding those responsible accountable. "Those who did this must be held criminally liable, and compensation must be paid for the deaths and injuries. If this does not happen, relations will undoubtedly take a negative turn," he warned.

The crash claimed the lives of 38 of the 67 people on board. Before crashing in Kazakhstan, the plane was reportedly fired upon by Russian air defenses repelling a drone attack over Chechnya.

Russian federal TV channels have avoided reporting the missile strike, instead attributing the crash to a collision with birds, which allegedly damaged the engines and caused an oxygen tank to explode. However, passengers, Western experts, and Ukrainian intelligence have all confirmed that the plane was hit by a missile fired by a Russian Pantsir system.

💲🇨🇭🇷🇺 About $7.9 billion in private assets have been frozen in Switzerland as part of sanctions against Russia.

Switzerland will never again be able to claim the status of a neutral country and a country as a platform for any peace negotiations.

"For some reason, a number of men consistently confuse SSH rank with morality. They can’t seem to wrap their heads around the obvious fact that high status men whom men admire and to whom women are attracted often will do very bad things of which they do not approve, despite the fact that criticizing the awful behavior of various celebrities is a regular pastime for people of their judgmental kind."

Two new meta-analytic studies involving thousands of children and college students show that anxiety has increased substantially since the 1950's. In fact, the studies find that anxiety has increased so much that typical schoolchildren during the 1980's reported more anxiety than child psychiatric patients did during the 1950's.

"The most notable impact of the absence of the legacy media and its virtue-signalling academic pets was that we got to have an actual, robust, masculine, no-holds-barred debate for the first time in at least a decade. The familiar shame-and-ostracize tactics were tried – mainly by centre-right classical liberals who have been trying to force-meme ‘woke right’ for months now – but fell entirely on deaf ears, and served mainly to marginalize the people resorting to such tricks. Instead, the debate focused on verifiable fact, on peoples’ direct experiences, on logical argument, and yes, on rhetoric and memes. Ordinary anon accounts with a few hundred followers were ratioing some of the worlds’ most powerful people, without any intermediation by gatekeepers."

🇰🇷Video of a passenger plane crashing at Muan Airport in South Korea.

A South Korean airline Jeju Air has reportedly crashed on landing after hitting a bird. The plane, which had arrived from Bangkok, crashed into a fence beyond the runway because its landing gear failed to deploy, Yonhap news agency reported.

According to preliminary data, 28 people could have become victims of the accident (however, this figure could increase significantly). In total, 181 people were on board.

The death toll has risen to 47 people, 2 have been rescued, authorities in Muan report.
