Dicyanin was a blue dye made from coal-tar. It can be prepared by the action of KOH [potassium hydroxide] + atmospheric O [oxygen] on α-γ-Dimethylquinolinium salts.

The dye is said to make light waves beyond the human eye capability visible. This can only be done by changing the wavelength, something that other dyes will also do and is known as fluorescence.

And the fact that it is banned, might mean it works. Especially since there is no definitive reason it is banned.

The Inventor of the goggles did state that some people didn’t have an aura. Which either indicates someone is so low vibrational or they aren’t entirely human.
