Jean Talon, the first Intendant of New France (1665–1672), implemented natalist policies to rapidly increase the colony’s population by encouraging marriage and large families. To promote early unions, he imposed fines on unmarried men over 20 and women over 16, while also providing dowries and support for the Filles du Roi, around 800 women sent from France to marry settlers. Families with 10 or more children received annual pensions of 300 livres, incentivizing high birth rates.

Additionally, Talon supported agricultural expansion by granting land and providing farming tools and livestock, ensuring that growing families had the resources to sustain themselves. These policies significantly boosted the colony’s population and laid the foundation for long-term demographic growth in New France.

Sadly, Russia still maintains a very high abortion rate. I post these things sometimes because it seems like Russia is viewed through rosy Orthodox glasses. All around the world there is a great struggle, it will simply vary from place to place. https://wisevoter.com/country-rankings/abortion-rate-by-country/

🇺🇲🇸🇯 The Norwegian Haltbakk Bunkers Oil company stops supplying US Navy

After yesterday's events in the White House with Zelensky, Haltbakk Bunkers, one of Norway's largest marine fuel companies, appears to have announced that it will no longer refuel American Navy vessels.

Haltbakk has also called on other European companies to refuse service to American forces.

You know when sometimes you don’t shut the front door properly on the latch and the breeze blows it back open and you don’t notice for a bit? That's what 75% of Democrats believe Biden did with the US southern border according to a new poll.

WARNING: Are you someone that tried to “float” the “quiet conspiracy” that Biden would be replaced by “Democratic power brokers” at the very last minute before the election?

If so, you may be ennoscriptd to “holy shit, I’ve been right about literally everything” compensation.

From Mike Yeadon...

https://open.substack.com/pub/anthonycolpo/p/the-published-research-showing-influenza

This article brings together a large number of generally well-conducted studies investigating the utility of “flu vaccines” & the unsurprising findings are that they do absolutely nothing useful (unless your goal is to make people unwell).
It isn’t surprising because these illnesses aren’t caused by infectious agents called viruses, for which existence there’s no scientific evidence.
You don’t need to take Mr Colpo’s word for it. He quotes extensively from the conclusions of the many papers included. Note that this isn’t cherry picking because they include the worlds largest review, by the Cochrane Institute (before they got acquired by bad people).
Best wishes
Mike

"Donation of Constantine" - wiki

>The Donation of Constantine (Latin: Donatio Constantini) is a forged Roman imperial decree by which the 4th-century emperor Constantine the Great supposedly transferred authority over Rome and the western part of the Roman Empire to the Pope. Composed probably in the 8th century, it was used, especially in the 13th century, in support of claims of political authority by the papacy.

"Making a state’s population go up for the sake of it is meaningless paper-clip maximizing. Once you start looking at the reasons why a growing population might be beneficial (to an individual member of society or the proverbial social planner), it becomes clear that actually-existing immigration2 makes the problems of population decline worse, not better."
