The tarsier, a tiny primate famously known for its giant eyes, is primarily found in South-East Asia. Native to areas such as the Philippines, Borneo, and Sumatra, the tarsier weighs around 3-5 ounces, with a body length of 4-6 inches (10-15cm).

They're a nocturnal species, usually coming out at night to hunt insects such as crickets, beetles, and grasshoppers. Another notable feature of the tarsier is their leaping ability, which allows them to jump up to 40 times their body length in a single leap! 🐒

🇬🇧 The British BBC has restored and returned to its place the sculpture of the famous pedophile above the entrance to its London headquarters.

The composition depicts Prospero and Ariel from Shakespeare's "The Tempest". Eric Gill sculpted it especially for the BBC in 1931-1932. Several decades later, after his death, his diaries were made public, from which it followed that he raped his own daughters and even his pet dog.

In 2022, vandals smashed Prospero and Ariel with a hammer. The sculptural composition was sent for repairs and is now back in place with a protective screen.

The restoration and protection cost the BBC (or rather British taxpayers, because it is a state corporation) half a million pounds.
