NOW - VP Vance draws a hard line on the India–Pakistan conflict — “None of our business.”
As tensions explode between two nuclear powers, Vice President J.D. Vance made one thing crystal clear:
America isn’t getting dragged into another foreign war.
“We're concerned about any time nuclear powers collide and have a major conflict,” Vance said.
U.S. policy will focus on deescalation, rather than involvement.
“What we've said, what Secretary Rubio said, and certainly the president has said is we want this thing to de-escalate as quickly as possible.”
But concern doesn’t mean sending troops—or picking sides.
“We can't control these countries, though,” he added.
“What we can do is try to encourage these folks to de-escalate a little bit, but we're not going to get involved in the middle of war. That's fundamental, none of our business and has nothing to do with America's ability to control it.”
Vance doubled down on a foreign policy rooted in restraint and realism.
“We're going to continue to pursue this thing through diplomatic channels. Our hope and our expectation is that this is not going to spiral into a broader regional war or, God forbid, a nuclear conflict. But sure, we're worried about these things.”
And when it comes to keeping the peace, he said, that job belongs to the countries involved—not the United States.
“But I think the job of diplomacy, but also the job of cooler heads in India and Pakistan, is to make sure this doesn't become a nuclear war.”

"In partnership with the UK’s infamous Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), originally dubbed the "Nudge Unit," the University of New South Wales has launched a new program to "prebunk" so-called misinformation before it ever reaches Australian citizens.
"The stated goal is to train Australians, in no uncertain terms, to instinctively reject certain narratives before they’ve even heard them."

"Back in 2010, Thanedar owned a New Jersey pharmaceutical testing lab called AniClin Preclinical Services, a subsidiary of his larger firm Azopharma. When the business collapsed under his leadership, the facilities were abruptly abandoned—with animals still trapped inside.
"Caretakers, horrified by what they saw, broke into the facility to rescue the animals from slow starvation. The lab had become a death camp for helpless creatures, many already subjected to brutal testing. According to the Daily Mail, it involved “unspeakable acts against 118 beagles.”
"The story barely made a ripple in the legacy media at the time. But now, as Thanedar tries to posture as a moral authority against Trump, Americans are revisiting the record—and asking how this man ever ended up in Congress.
"Meanwhile, the media runs puff-pieces on Thanedar saying that he’s just a former chemist who has a rags-to-riches story becoming a multi-millionaire. They ignore the multiple bankruptcies and the background in animal testing, and the way in which Thanedar left the beagles to die."

The devs 100% knew exactly how this would play out. I can see the conversation now. The gender goblin insisting on inclusive representation. Devs rolling their eyes. A dev puts his hand up. "What if we include a pride parade?" he asks with angelic innocence.
"That's a great idea," she/they exclaims with great enthusiasm, never having played GTA before.
Another dev snickers.
"What was that?" she/they asks, confused.
"Dust in my nose," the dev says, pretending to cough as he covers his mouth so she can't see his grin.
"We'll get right on the pride parade," the first dev says with complete sincerity.
"Make sure there are lots of them!" she/they insists. "And they need to be big! With lots of people!"
"They'll be EVERYWHERE," the dev promises. "The players will have every opportunity to, uh ... INTERACT with them."

🇺🇦🇬🇧 Several Ukrainian soldiers have gone missing in London.
Several Ukrainian servicemen invited to take part in the ceremonial parade in honor of Europe Day in London have not responded to calls after the event. According to BBC sources, three Ukrainian servicemen have not returned to their group's location and are not answering phone calls.
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry confirmed the disappearance, but declined to comment on possible reasons.
The British police have launched an investigation, but are not yet considering the kidnapping version. According to unofficial information, one of the missing persons was interested in the possibility of staying in the UK shortly before his disappearance.
This is not the first time that Ukrainian soldiers sent to Western countries for treatment or training have refused to return. Earlier, the media reported similar incidents in Germany and Poland.
