DEVELOPING! ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos is set to give a deposition related to former President Donald Trump's defamation lawsuit against him and ABC News.
The lawsuit stems from Stephanopoulos's on-air comments during an interview with Rep. Nancy Mace, where he stated that Trump was found "liable for rape" in a civil case involving E. Jean Carroll. However, the jury only found Trump liable for sexual abuse, not rape, under New York law, leading to Trump's claim of defamation.
