🌿 The Donetsk Botanical Garden was founded in 1964 initially as a research institute, and today it is one of the largest botanical gardens in Europe, with an area of 203 hectares.

🌴 A unique collection of woody plants has been collected on an area of 45 hectares, planted in a landscape style according to a systematic principle. The collections of coniferous plants, the family of rosaceae (159), birch (35), linden (10), beech (9), hazel (10), maple (23), legumes (42), barberry (22), are the most rich.

Today, the botanical garden is changing for the better:

🔹 A new laboratory for the propagation of rare plants is under construction;
🔹 A new greenhouse complex is under construction;
🔹 A genetic bank for plants is also under construction;
🔹 New buildings are also being built and the existing greenhouses are being renovated.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Donald Trump's "two week deadline" term is a deception tactic to lull Iranian leaders into believing that Trump hasn't decided to join Israel in bombing them yet.

Several Israeli military sources told CNN they believe Trump's talk of "waiting for a change in attitude" from Tehran is "smoke and mirrors" to keep the Iranians guessing as to when the American attack may come.

TIL of the 1997Jarrell, Texas "Dead Man Walking" tornado, a slow-moving F5 twister that sat over a subdivision for three full minutes, subjecting it to 260+ mph winds. It erased everything, killed 27 people, plus hundreds of cattle, and blended their remains together unrecognizably.

🇮🇷🇮🇱 Scott Ritter: There’s a Good Chance Israel’s Hitting Iranian Decoys

Hunting mobile missiles is extremely difficult work.

During Desert Storm, I was debriefing pilots from the 1/160 Special Operations Aviation Regiment (the “Nightstalkers”) about their claimed kill of an Iraqi SCUD missile.

I pointed out if what they shot up with their onboard machine guns had been an actual SCUD, they be dead because the secondary explosion from the fuel would have consumed their helicopter.

It turned out what they attacked was a realistic decoy deployed by the Iraqis to divert attention away from where their missiles were really operating.

In the end we didn’t kill a single Iraqi SCUD.

Just decoys.

Keep this in mind when reading about Israeli successes.

It’s not always what it seems.

The Japan That Can Say No

Unlike the USA, Japan isn’t interested in bankrupting itself for Israel: Japan has canceled an annual high-level meeting with key ally the United States after the Trump administration demanded it spend more on defense, the Financial Times reported on Friday.Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth had been expected to meet […]

🚨Palantir’s AI FAKED Iran threat to justify Israel’s strikes

Israel’s surprise strike on Iran wasn’t triggered by hard intel – it was propped up by Palantir’s counter-intel algorithm AI, baked into an IAEA report, writes Alastair Crooke, director of Conflicts Forum.

🔍Here is what he has discovered:

🔴The “Iran’s on the brink of building a bomb” claim – that collapsed almost immediately after the attack – was conveniently teed up by the IAEA’s June 12 “Non-Compliance” resolution.
🔴Since 2015, the IAEA has relied on Palantir’s Mosaic platform, a $50 million AI system that analyzes millions of data points, including satellite imagery, social media, and personnel logs, to predict nuclear threats.
🔴Rather than hard evidence, the system flagged “anomalies” at the Iranian Fordow and Lavisan-Shian sites, rehashing years-old allegations.
🔴It analyzed behavior and metadata, then postulated, or rather guessed, Iran’s intentions.
🔴Mosaic’s algorithmic assessments replaced traditional intel, turning likely innocent data correlations into a green light for war.

👉The result? A pretext manufactured in the shadows to serve Israel’s agenda.

➡️IAEA chief Rafael Grossi later admitted that the bomb claim was overblown – but only after the attack on Iran had taken place.

Atari 2600 Beats ChatGPT at Chess — No, Seriously

In an unexpected clash of tech generations, an engineer from Citrix pitted ChatGPT against a 1977 Atari 2600 console running Atari Chess. The result? The retro console won — and convincingly so.

For over 90 minutes, GPT-4o struggled against the 8-bit game’s simplest difficulty setting. It confused pieces, forgot past moves, and made blunders that would embarrass a novice. Even after switching from icon-based display to standard chess notation, its gameplay didn’t improve.

The funniest part? ChatGPT kept complaining that the piece icons were “too abstract” to interpret — a very human excuse for losing to a machine older than most of its users’ parents.

Despite Atari only looking 1–2 moves ahead, it managed to consistently outplay a state-of-the-art language model. A stark reminder: understanding language ≠ understanding logic or spatial reasoning.

"Then there’s the entire topic of the “Many Worlds” interpretation of quantum mechanics. This isn’t physics. It’s not even science. It’s a weird cult religion that believes that at every moment, at every position, every possible outcome takes place, and an uncountable infinity of infinities of universes spawn. You, the person reading this, are a continuity of a consciousness flowing through a random assortment of realities as if it were merely a single reality.

"As the saying goes, this is so bad it’s not even wrong. It’s category error. It takes a special kind of smart to come up with something this dumb. It takes a lot of dedicated propaganda and repeated programming to convince people of something this obviously silly."

Turkey is Next

Simplicius explains why the world is increasingly supportive of Iran and disinclined to permit Israel anything that looks like a victory against Iran: Israeli figures and media are already salivating at the prospect of what’s next after Iran, with various posts about Qatar, Turkey, and Pakistan all being lined up for disarmament and dismantling. Israel […]
