The world’s largest telescope has captured its first images of the night sky
After more than a decade of construction, the observatory atop El Peñón has finally begun operations this spring. In just ten hours of observation, the telescope recorded millions of galaxies and dozens of asteroids — marking the beginning of a new era in our exploration of the universe.
The first released image features the Trifid Nebula and the Lagoon Nebula, both located within the Milky Way.

In what desperate situation did Israel resort to a ceasefire?
Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon:
📌Yesterday was a very difficult time. This ceasefire was more to save Israel itself. This is the hidden part of the story.
📌They entered into an adventure that was beyond their strength. They went to the point where they had no more strength left. Yesterday was truly a terrible day for the people of Israel.
They needed this ceasefire because their defensive ammunition was running out and President Trump intervened with the help of Qatar.
Donald Trump:
📌Israel was hit really hard. Especially in the last few days, Israel was really hit hard. Oh boy, those ballistic missiles destroyed a lot of buildings.
NBC News, citing American officials:
The Israeli army is running out of weapons, including its ammunition, and is facing a shortage of weapons.
🔹Zionist newspaper "Yediot Aharonot":
📌After 12 days of war over a project it fought for 40 years, Iran has no intention of surrendering. Some of Iran's uranium was probably saved and it still has a large part of its missile arsenal.
📌Iranians are skilled at playing chess and use missiles for defense.
📌In light of the available data and information, we asked how the military assesses the situation: Has the nuclear threat disappeared?
Can the military say with certainty that the issues for which the operation was carried out have been destroyed or stopped?
📌As expected, we received no response and probably no one has an answer to this question.
Ori Goldberg, political analyst in Tel Aviv:
📌Israel was running out of defensive missiles. I don't think Israel could really survive a missile war of attrition with Iran. The losses in Israel were starting to pile up.
📌Israel is not in a good situation. Our famous air defense system was able to intercept a number of missiles. But many also hit their targets and caused heavy damage. We do not have the capacity to fight Iran.
🔹Report by Ahmed Darawsheh, Al Arabi Channel correspondent from Tel Aviv:
The victors in this battle are Iranian missiles, which were able to defeat the world's most advanced systems and surprise everyone.
📌According to the admission of Israeli circles and its military analysts, Iranian missiles are very accurate and destructive, and have surprised and taken everyone by surprise.
📌This amount of destruction and devastation has called into question even among Israelis themselves the Israeli propaganda about the war with Iran. This vast amount of destruction and devastation in Israel is the final sequence of the war.
🔹The Wall Street Journal:
The heavy costs of Israel's recent war against Iran for the regime reached more than $7 billion in the first ten days alone.
The Hebrew noscriptures say:
The war against Iran cost Israel 22 billion shekels.
🔹Some media outlets have also reported that the Israeli economy suffered losses of $20 billion in the 12-day war. The regime's compensation funds have also received 38,700 compensation requests since the beginning.
🔹Reporter for Channel 15, Israeli TV:
The cost of damage to the Weizmann Institute alone as a result of the Iranian missile attack is estimated to exceed 2 billion shekels ($600 million).

UPDATE | The Jerusalem District Court has postponed Prime Minister Netanyahu’s criminal trial testimony for this week following a closed-door session attended by the heads of Mossad and Military Intelligence, who cited "national security concerns."
The delay comes after US President Trump called for the trial to be dropped, claiming it hinders Gaza ceasefire efforts and Iran diplomacy. The court has not yet canceled next week's hearings, but may do so if a solid request is submitted.

"Keep in mind that most of the people in this world are completely “pre-axial.” There are large chunks of the world population who have no introspection, no reflexivity, no capacity to understand the abstract, to plan ahead for the future, to dwell upon the consequences of their own actions. There are entire nations where practically the whole population would fail the Breakfast Question. Most of us probably remember that whole NPC thing from a few years ago? Well you, my friends, live in a world full of NPCs."

Is there a link between vaccines and autism?
Andrew Wakefield's peer-reviewed paper suggested that research is needed and he was then destroyed by the pharmaceutical industry.

BREAKING: The Trump Department of Justice has just filed a lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles, arguing its sanctuary policies violate the Supremacy Clause by intentionally discriminating against the federal gov by treating federal immigration officers differently than other law enforcement. DOJ is asking that LA’s sanctuary policies be enjoined/blocked from being enforced.
Attorney General Pam Bondi statement to FoxNews:
"Sanctuary policies were the driving cause of the violence, chaos, and attacks on law enforcement that Americans recently witnessed in Los Angeles. Jurisdictions like Los Angeles that flout federal law by prioritizing illegal aliens over American citizens are undermining law enforcement at every level – it ends under President Trump.”
Excerpt from lawsuit:
"Sanctuary City laws and policies are designed to deliberately impede federal immigration officers’ ability to carry out their responsibilities in those jurisdictions. The Los Angeles Ordinance and other policies intentionally discriminate against the Federal Government by treating federal immigration authorities differently than other law enforcement agents through access restrictions both to property and to individual detainees, by prohibiting contractors and sub-contractors from providing information, and by disfavoring federal criminal laws that the City of Los Angeles has decided not to comply with. The Supremacy Clause prohibits the City of Los Angeles and its officials from singling out the Federal Government for adverse treatment—as the challenged law and policies do—thereby discriminating against the Federal Government. Accordingly, the law and policies challenged here are invalid and should be enjoined."
