I had a marvelous conversation with William Ramsey earlier today.

Francis Bacon was not the father of modern science, but rather the architect of scientism: a worldview that enthrones scientific knowledge as the supreme authority over all human affairs. His fame followed not from his work on the methods of science (which was a continuation of pre-existing developments in medieval philosophy and science) but rather from his vision of science as a tool for power and control. In New Atlantis, Bacon presented a vision of society governed by a secretive scientific elite, laying the philosophical groundwork for the technocratic systems that dominate the modern world. Bacon redefined knowledge as power. In reclaiming the meaning of science, we must confront Bacon’s legacy and challenge the dehumanizing program he set in motion.

Trump ends another war, and Kennedy declares war on behalf of vaccine-injured people. Lots of things getting fixed this week, including, possibly, the culture itself, if my yard sign test holds up.

"This is something to keep in mind if you are a Gamma, or even if you’re a Delta or a Bravo with an occasionally tendency to slip into Gamma-style behaviors from time to time: do not let your public persona depart too far from your private persona.

"Remember, your ever-so-artful management of others’ perceptions of you is far less adroit, and far more obvious, than you can possibly imagine. You’re not fooling anyone, most especially your children."

❗️South Korea Halts Decades-Long Radio Broadcasts to North Korea — Bloomberg

South Korea has ended radio transmissions to North Korea that had been running since the 1970s, cutting off one of the few sources of uncensored information available to North Koreans.

Authorities confirmed the broadcasts were suspended to avoid escalating tensions with Pyongyang and to preserve inter-Korean relations.

Experts note that North Korea consistently jammed these signals—evidence of how threatening the regime considered them. The move aligns with President Lee Jae-myung’s broader policy shift aimed at softening Seoul’s stance toward Pyongyang.

"Given the enormous scale of Epstein’s operation and the decades that it had remained in place, it’s difficult to believe that so many wealthy, well-connected individuals could have naively fallen into his clutches. Surely the stories of all his underage girls and the rumors of his hidden cameras would have gotten around. And billionaires strongly interested in such illicit pleasures could easily have arranged these for themselves rather than risking Epstein’s blackmail demands.

"The answer to this puzzle is an obvious one, though I’ve only seen it explained by Internet provocateur Andrew Anglin, whose key explanatory phrase was “voluntary blackmail.”

"He pointed out that the dark, secret forces such as Mossad that control much of American politics would only lend their support to those persons whom they considered fully under their control, and powerful blackmail evidence was the surest means of establishing such control. In effect, those individuals who wanted to advance their careers or gain powerful hidden allies would knowingly use Epstein’s services to create a blackmail tape of their illegal sexual activity with underage girls, thereby marking themselves as “safe” recipients of support."

"Much to my surprise — and likely yours — Fantastic Four: First Steps actually feels like a Fantastic Four movie. It’s far from great, but it gets the most important thing right: heart. Reed is a brain. Johnny’s a firecracker. Ben’s a bruiser with a soul. And Sue? She’s the mom — the real kind, not the studio's marketing department girl-boss fantasy. For the first time in years, Marvel reached into its past and found something worth bringing forward. It's not a triumph, but if you are a long-time fan of the Fantastic Four then…

Europe’s Coming Lost Decades

Richard Werner, the author of one of the most important books on banking and economic history ever written, Princes of the Yen, explains why Europe is economically stagnant, and in doing so, inadvertently provides a hint at what might be the real reason Shinzo Abe was assassinated three years ago. Many observers are puzzled by […]

Every 1/4th child born in France has an Arab or a Muslim name.

Besides that, France also has a lot of Black and Asian people while some Muslims and brown people may choose not to have a Muslim name.

In other words, it’s likely that non-Whites constitute up to a half of all new-borns in France and by most Conservative estimations at least one third.
