❗️Poland was attacked by at least eight Russian "Shaheds", — President Zelenskyy

Moscow always tests the limits of the possible and, if it does not meet a strong reaction, remains at a new level of escalation. Today there was another escalation step — Russian-Iranian "Shaheds" operated in the airspace of Poland, in NATO airspace. Not one "Shahed," which could be called an accident, but at least eight strike drones that were aimed in the direction of Poland, the president noted.

❗️Ukraine is ready to provide Poland with the necessary data regarding this Russian strike. Ukraine is ready to help Poland build an appropriate warning and protection system against such Russian challenges, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"More and more information is coming in about the incursion of Russian strike drones into the territory of Poland. As of now, eight drones are known. More and more facts indicate that such a movement, such a direction of attack is not accidental. There have been incidents with individual Russian drones that crossed the border and covered a short distance on the territory of neighbors before. But now we are recording a much larger scale and purposefulness.
It is obvious that Russian aggression is a threat to every independent nation in our region. And accordingly, only joint and coordinated actions can guarantee reliable security.
The precedent of using combat aircraft of several European countries simultaneously to shoot down Russian weapons and protect people's lives is important. Ukraine has long proposed to its partners to create a joint air defense system and ensure the guaranteed shooting down of "Shaheds," other drones and missiles thanks to the combined power of our combat aircraft and air defense. Together, Europeans are always stronger. Russia must feel that the response to this an escalating step, and especially an attempt to humiliate one of the key European countries, will result in a clear and strong response from all partners," the president noted.
